No matter how many times I see this video, I always find myself smiling when Tessa and Scott move their chairs closer together in the "Kiss & Cry". They're so sweet and so cute! And did I mention that they're the most perfect skaters I've ever seen?
i read somewhere that the commentators we're saying that finally, they moved towards each other because the seats were unusually far from each other. they said it was so sweet and that everything 'scott' does is sweet cuz this is also the competition where tessa almost falls twice in the original dance 'farrucas' and that the way scott bends over the first time tessa almost fell was done in such a way that if she did fall, she would fall on him... awwwwww

And then he pulls the chairs closer together. And she scoots closer to him as far as the chair will allow. 06:58. He’s rubbing her neck. She’s gorgeous here. Radiant. The thing that I like most about this is that they were leaning towards each other the entire time. And the need to be close is just ingrained at this point in their partnership. She once said in an interview that they always said “we” even when it wasn’t about sports or even when she was by herself... which she said sometimes confused people. They are so great, sweet and "cospiratorial" each other ! D&W are fantatic skaters, but these two have absolutely something more, maybe stardust, something special, I don't know.... When they make their routines they look like to live into a different reality, the whole world seems to be only around them on the ice, like inside a crystal bubble. They live and tell an unforgettable story every time .....

hmm i think when he said what did we do he was talking about the judges cuz they were taking sooo long...and sure enough they got a deduction....i think this is what they were tlaking about how tessa said the judges said it was illegal to kind of do a rotational falling off thing after she does the goose...sooo if yu see their olympic performance you see that instead of jumping off scott catches her instead...
It's true, in ice dance you can't a full rotation in a jump. But this is kind of a grey area since she only does about 3/4 of a rotation (from what I can tell). That's why they were able to not get deducted every time, but some judges were adamantly against it.
@@alphashanahan4323 It was mostly likely a hit or miss kind of thing. The rotation is beautiful, but as someone said, it is a gray area. It is TECHNICALLY allowed, like a little loophole, but they didn’t want to give the judges a chance to deduct them points going into the Olympics.

"what a grump, i tell you." or something to that effect and caressed her back. that's when he said i hate this thing.
They said "They are the first ones who finally moved closer to each other because of those chairs, it's so touching... oh, my goodness. They themselves are very touching. It's so great...".

The Olympic performance was much better. There were a couple of wobbly spots here and they changed the ending.
