Hey guys if you’re ever in need of a quick snack, Japan has some of the best 7/11 convenience stores! Also, not sure if you’re looking into venturing outside of Tokyo, but Kyoto is one of my favorite places in Japan. It’s a 2+ hour ride away from Tokyo via bullet train. There you find the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine and the Bamboo Forest-which is one of the best places I’ve ever seen to date. If you ever do go to Kyoto it’s worth the trip! It’s a bit more laidback and provincial compared to Tokyo but personally it’s my favorite place in Japan.☺️

You can cover the 'Hachiko' statue at shibuya station, hachiko was an akita dog who waited for his master outside the station for 10 yrs, after one day his master boarded the train and passed away while giving a lecture. there are 3 statues of him in japan paying him and his loyalty a respect, it's such a touching subject! i end up watery eyes everytime i think of it.

Hi guys!!! You should try Shirohige’s Totoro cream puff my fav place to visit while I’m in Japan. It’s a lovely bakery based off of anime studio ghilbi TOTORO.
Hi;)) So glad to see you guys having fun in my home town! The video is great! Now I miss Tokyo. Try Jindaiji temple, and Nezu Museum of Art (They have a beautiful Japanese garden as well). They have great japanese art pieces and you'll see much less tourists and more locals. the market street at Jindaiji temple hasn't changed for so long and they literally looks like they are straight out of black and white films. Also, please try Kabuki theatre! it's an amazing traditional theatre performance and you don't even need to understand the language as they are visually very attractive. To be honest, I only understand half of what they are saying during the performance since they speak in a "Kabuki" way...but I just keep going back anyways. In terms of food, I recommend this great tempura place called Funabashiya in Shinjuku. For japanese confections, Toraya (especially the one at Akasaka) is the place to go. Best of the best. Enjoy your stay in Japan:))

There are many cafes, restaurants and shops😌 also there are many people walking with dogs😂 For cafes, "Funawa cafe (ふなわかふぇ)" is good. you can enjoy Japanese traditional desserts such as Anmitsu or Yokan. my favorite one is Imo-Yokan😊🍠 2. Kawagoe it takes 1hours from Shibuya to Kawagoe, but there is direct line😊 Kawagoe is famous for its traditional Japanese town. you can enjoy many street food here. also I wanna recommend to go to Kawagoe Hikawa Jinja (shrine), they offer a unique Omikuji (a paper fortune).
There are lots of choices in Japan, try Japanese Fluffy Pancake, Grilled Gyutan Set (Beef tongue, taste like beefsteak with rice set), Unagi (Grilled eel with rice), Shabu Shabu (Japanese hot pot, you should choose some good quality Japanese Beef), Pork cutlet with Curry.... even an Onigiri (Rice ball with seaweed) & steamed bun in Convenient Shop are good for snack / breakfast.
That ramen made my mouth watery and my stomach hungry. All I could think about is ramen. Will you guys make side trips outside Tokyo? If you would consider Kyoto and Osaka.

Come to Fukuoka! It's located western part and near South Korea. The Ichiran Ramen was born here. We've got seafood, other type of Ramen, Udon etc. There are so many Temples and Shrines. Easy to get to beaches or mountains if you guys like hiking. You can rent a car and drive away. Fukuoka is much quieter than Tokyo and Osaka. Come and see for just chilling.
Try to visit sunshine city in ikebukuro! It has so much stuff in it, I hope you find something you really like! Me and my friends enjoyed it when e were there 2016, and going back in January to explore tokyo again :D Additionally, we booked some interesting trips through Magical trip, like a bar hopping experience to get into places a tourist might not find :D
If you are just going to stay in Tokyo area, go day trip ! Guarantee you to have wonderful trip. Kawaguchi Lake... It is bottom of Mt Fuji. You can see magnificent view from the hot spring town. It is about an hour bus ride from Shinjuku. Hakone is well known hot spring place, an hour train ride from Shinjuku. Kamakura is ancient capital of Japan, has many historical shirines and temples, about an hour train ride from Tokyo. Yokohama has biggest china town in Japan. Chichibu is great nature destination. Nikko has beautiful historical buildings and hot spring, about an hour train ride from Asakusa. There are many hot springs around Tokyo area as well. Don't miss to experience hot spring, I recommend traditional Japanese Inn, they include traditional Japanese full course meals for dinner and breakfast normally. Enjoy your stay in Japan. 😊

I'll be flying to Japan in 2 days. Here's my personal list of places I wanna check out. I've been going for 20+ years so I've done all the "tourist things" already. Some of these areas are old school Japan and the shops might not have English menus. Check em out!
Oh, and if you explore enough you'll find local ramen spots that are better than ICHIRAN in my opinion. ICHIRAN is basically like the McDonald's of ramen for many seasoned Japan travelers like myself. 😎

There are lots of choices in Japan, try Japanese Fluffy Pancake, Grilled Gyutan Set (Beef tongue, taste like beefsteak with rice set), Unagi (Grilled eel with rice), Shabu Shabu (Japanese hot pot, you should choose some good quality Japanese Beef), Pork cutlet with Curry.... even an Onigiri (Rice ball with seaweed) & steamed bun in Convenient Shop are good for snack / breakfast.
That ramen made my mouth watery and my stomach hungry. All I could think about is ramen. Will you guys make side trips outside Tokyo? If you would consider Kyoto and Osaka.

Come to Fukuoka! It's located western part and near South Korea.
The Ichiran Ramen was born here.
We've got seafood, other type of Ramen, Udon etc. There are so many Temples and Shrines.
Easy to get to beaches or mountains if you guys like hiking. You can rent a car and drive away. Fukuoka is much quieter than Tokyo and Osaka. Come and see for just chilling.

Try to visit sunshine city in ikebukuro! It has so much stuff in it, I hope you find something you really like! Me and my friends enjoyed it when e were there 2016, and going back in January to explore tokyo again :D Additionally, we booked some interesting trips through Magical trip, like a bar hopping experience to get into places a tourist might not find :D
If you are just going to stay in Tokyo area, go day trip ! Guarantee you to have wonderful trip.
Kawaguchi Lake... It is bottom of Mt Fuji. You can see magnificent view from the hot spring town. It is about an hour bus ride from Shinjuku.
Hakone is well known hot spring place, an hour train ride from Shinjuku.
Kamakura is ancient capital of Japan, has many historical shirines and temples, about an hour train ride from Tokyo.
Yokohama has biggest china town in Japan.
Chichibu is great nature destination.
Nikko has beautiful historical buildings and hot spring, about an hour train ride from Asakusa.
There are many hot springs around Tokyo area as well. Don't miss to experience hot spring, I recommend traditional Japanese Inn, they include traditional Japanese full course meals for dinner and breakfast normally.
