Cronos scientists are seen with a large cocoon-shaped object in their lab but are soon interrupted by Guyver III. He is leading a group called the Zeus Thunderbolt against the Cronos corporation. Guyver III recollects his memories of the aftermath of the battle against Archanfel, which led to their apparent deaths. Sho sacrificed himself and manages to save everyone. In the present, a recovered and renewed ZX-Tole attacks Aptom and the two face off. Aptom's attack are useless against Neo ZX-Tole.
Aptom's character development in this series/manga is a good turn around.

@@kmstx2 More like a "redeemed outcast -villain-turned-anti-hero and ally". He becomes a bit of a training partner and back up guardian to Sho and the Segawas. Considering the Agito basically went full rogue/anti-hero/Blood Knight Templar whose soul purpose is power at any cost, they needed a humanizing element...ironically, with one of the least human beings there now.

If you want action: watch the OVA
If you want character development: watch the 2005 series.

The fight between Aptom and Neo-ZX-Tole was the best part of this episode.

Seriously.... Mizuki is the most annoying anime character ever! No logical thought process completely impulsive and ALWAYS needs saving... yet for some dumb ass reason whenever she is like "hey lets run right into the middle of a dangerous battle on a whim just so I can know whats going on" everyone is like "oh ok lets go" she shits me to tears....
Then when the sh*t goes down, she cries and cries and they have to save her.

Shingeki no Kyojin would beg to differ... I think the older anime are more guilty of having useless female characters because boys were the bigger fan base, I think there are more bad ass females in more modern manga... apart from Sakura in Naruto... she sux..LOL

@@jblaze260 26 Episodes, an ova, and a live action movie adaptation that I didn't know was based on an anime until last week (I've been an anime fan for over 30+ years and didn't even realize it)
@@kmstx2 Two movies actually; the first with Mark Hamil in a bit part. The second one, though cheaper, was seriously kinda cool and stuck to the story. You can watch it "Dark Hero", right here on youtube.
After 16+ years still no continuation from Episode 26. What a disappointment... Anyone know why ?
My guess is there is no demand for it. This series ended at volume 10 of the manga. Theres 23 more volumes they could adapt but no good stopping point. The manga had its share of hiatuses since 1985. The latest hiatus was in 2016. Who knows if the author will continue.

Sho is kinda weak the whole way, except the last 5 minutes. Also his balls never grew past pea size, ( edit) I got so bored with all the posturing and long winded speeches.,,, Still, it does have suspense.
