This is by far the easiest and most explicit video guide to the end game in Last Epoch I´ve found so far and I´ve watched a few. I don´t normally leave a like but this one really deserves it. Cudos!
How far are you in the game? This talking come out from prison because of the time mechanic that's in Grain to the story in the mechanic of the game. If you haven't gotten to the monolith yet this isn't going to make any sense.
I started doing the monoliths at 50. Seems pretty safe, although I do have a lot of life gain on hit. I've always completed the campaign first when playing previously.
I have two questions: 1) How do you "transfer"/catch up the corruption on the other monos? What is the mechanic here? Like, say i push one mono to 300corruption and want to farm another, how do i transfer/catch up in the new one? 2) can you unlock the left monos via empowered monos or do you have to unlock them in the normal monos doing the quests? Say, i go the right path via Black Sun and Ending the Storm, can i unlock The stolen Lance via the empowered Fall of the Oucasts or do i have to run the normal Fall of the outcasts again and choose the left option?
Also… is there anyway I can skip story mode and get the idol slots and passive points for my second character and on? The game mechanics are nice, but the story is kinda bad on this game, except for a few moments
On alts you can complete dungeons to skips parts of the campaign but not the whole thing. Devs say it’s not recommended because it’ll be hard but it’s there as an option
fastest way to lvl in monoliths meanwhile doing the quests there? im 81 atm. feels soo slow! is it better to bump up the corruption. Playing Bladedancer chakram, pretty much melts everything.
I wish I knew all of this stuff before hand. I went left, the items I need are all farmed on the right. So I've been grinding my way over there. I am really liking this game but I do wish there was some clarity on a few things. Also missed out on the avarice gloves because I didn't know there were two different people to hand in the quest.
What basics? They're pretty basic. Do thing, get reward. Really not complicated but can feel confusing until you realize how simple it is. It feels like "what's the catch" when there is no catch, its just butter on bread
I've always chosen the 60 (or 62, whatever) rather than the 66 option, as I'm usually level 60-ish at the time. The same goes for the other options, one is always way above my current level. Does going into a monolith zone 5 or more levels higher than you are not matter?
The only thing that should restrict your choice is 'Can I survive it?'. If its your first character and you feel OP cause your just butchering whatever comes your way with no issues or 'Oops' moments of near death, then you can go higher level rather easily. Try and get all resistances at 75 as early as possible, then work on health and crit avoidance > stun avoidance. My marksman, with no support from my sorc besides having shards/runes/glyphs to use cause my drop luck is crap (I get lots of exalt, just shit stats for the piece or shit piece with acceptable stats) was doing monoliths at level 38 cause I could, so why not? The xp was fat and the story was boring a second round (going back for idols and passive points later though).
Great videos man, picked this game up after D4 was such a let down for a full price release product. Hopefully seasons save it, but this game is so rock solid (in offline mode) that I can't wait to see what they do in the future.
I am level 79 and can't even kill the lvl 75 monolth boss haha, so am stuck trying to get better loot. My choices are either farm the level 75 monolth nodes and get corruption or do dungeons/arenas I have tried all the above and can't seem to get better gear. What should I do? my skills are all level 20 and have my passives I want according to my build. I need more exalted items and gylphs of dispair but this is a rare drop and sometimes it doesn't work on T3 modifiers. I'm at a wall
I have a question I'm currently in the Fall of the outcast monolith, my corruption is 32 and I'm lv 78. How do I leave that for another? Is there a corruption limit or something?
4:43 So here you talk about how its good to push 1 monolith high to catch up others, how exactly do we do that? U didn't explain :( I have 1 monolith above 200 corruption, other ones are still at 100, so how do i catchup other ones up? Please anyone explain what he was talking about
@@Tenkiei Thanks, i asked in LE discord and i actually got some video link that explained...that was very confusing because I couldn't see that "bonus" on new mono because i haven't traveled to the Shade yet ^^
I started at lvl 25 on my rogue alt, am i gettingany penalties for this? Very fun, had to go ranged for it to work, planing on not choosing mastery until later. Wanna se how it works and feel the class out first.
I don't really get what the monolith level means, I start doing them at lvl 31 on my first character and didn't really have a problem even though the mono was lvl 58?
Level is level. The early monolith s are really easy and generally level scaling is pretty low early on so a level 30 can kill level 60 stuff. That's why you can have a skill with 4 passives and still clear current content. 😊
3:20 That is not entirely correct. You actually need to kill the architect (route to 85) or you do unlock empowered monoliths. I have done everything beside killing the architect and second blood, frost and death branch. I thought it was a bug, but afterr killing the architect (after the bosses) I finally could unlock empowered monoliths.
@@Tenkiei Sure, maybe it is a bug (I mean 0.9 is the worst bug party of their releases till now). But I could only finish it by unlocking this path afterwards. :)
I'm trying to farm those idols that proc smite on throwing attack. I finally got an echo for idols and didn't get anything and I can't repeat it. Do I just keep doing exho webs until I get lucky enough to see another idol map in the web?
@@GPS08 same, got a 6% on random mob mid way through campaign thankfully. Just started monos and got the first buff that gives 30 or 40% drop chance. Hoping I can find the rest within a week lol
Each Monolith has its own specific blessings, and loot vs character stat blessings are never mixed. So for example Reign of Dragons always gives character stats, and Fall of the Outcasts always gives loot.
Why is this guy using DK mage skeles? Get Ethereal Revenant + 2 Blood Golems. They are basically perma-minions by end-game. You never lose the DMG boost to Hungering Souls from the Unholy Trinity node. Also, BG keeps you in Reaper Form longer via the Hunger node. Revenant procs every time you use Death Seal, which is almost always up. You may occasionally have to summon BGs again if they take too much heat. Live long and prosper.
Priorities in terms of gear is always build specific and cannot accurately be generalized. Something about damage types and scaling options could come in the future though.
great guide ! I have a question: is it possible to change the direction we chose ? if i selected left side at the start, can i still change it to go right ?
Could you link the lich build you're playing in the video? Love the animations and the lightsaber wielding skeletons EDIT: He dropped the video today - czcams.com/video/iIVRI39LJ2U/video.html
I hate guides like this. It says kill the abomination but doesn't explain how to even fight him. I've been sitting at maxed stability in Fall of the outcasts for a day and have no idea how to get to any abomination fight
Basically plate armor is really heavy so it's hard to understand how your character would be able to just carry so many around at once, also an infinitely expanding wooden box??? They are playing us for fools.

@zakizdaman same here....came here to see how to push corruption and I have no idea what he is talking about.

yes, once you reach level 25 and reach the end of time you already unlock the monoliths
There's not unfortunately you'll have to do it all over again past Heoroborea to get all of them unlocked on your new character
On alts you can complete dungeons to skips parts of the campaign but not the whole thing. Devs say it’s not recommended because it’ll be hard but it’s there as an option
how do you move corruption from one mono to another?
fastest way to lvl in monoliths meanwhile doing the quests there? im 81 atm. feels soo slow! is it better to bump up the corruption. Playing Bladedancer chakram, pretty much melts everything.
How do you avoid the waves monolith as you said? How do you avoid the arena type?
How do you see it’s an arena monolith before you go in?
I wish I knew all of this stuff before hand. I went left, the items I need are all farmed on the right. So I've been grinding my way over there. I am really liking this game but I do wish there was some clarity on a few things. Also missed out on the avarice gloves because I didn't know there were two different people to hand in the quest.
The better of the guides I’ve seen, but I’m still confused on some basics of how Monoliths work.
What basics? They're pretty basic. Do thing, get reward. Really not complicated but can feel confusing until you realize how simple it is. It feels like "what's the catch" when there is no catch, its just butter on bread

Level does not matter that much. Plenty of builds can do level 100 empowered monoliths just fine at level 70ish.
The only real consideration is XP gain due to level difference. Any mob more than 10 levels higher then you gives you reduced XP.
The only thing that should restrict your choice is 'Can I survive it?'. If its your first character and you feel OP cause your just butchering whatever comes your way with no issues or 'Oops' moments of near death, then you can go higher level rather easily. Super dense guide, tons of good info. A key takeaways section would be helpful at the beginning or end of the video for referencing
do you just have to keep comleting echos until the abomination shows up?
cant open the empowered monolith. i checked the forums, alot of people had that problem and 0.9c fixed it for em, but not for me. sadge
I finished the lvl 90 monoliths but the thing in the middle didn't light up. Can't figure out what's wrong ...
3:58 Damn . . . The brine king ain't got nothin on that crab

How do I unlock corruption transfer?
I already unlocked empowered monoliths.

makes no sense to me, the last echos are never accessable and the ones i complete just stay yellow and farmable,

Yeah, this was great and all....HOW DO I GET LIGHTSABER UNDEAD????
Skeleton Mage - Death Knights.
I can't seem to kill the empowered bosses no matter what I do, they always seem to have a quick kill even if i have way high capped rez against it.
Certain skills need to be avoided, but beyond that if you're struggling it might be time to swap up your build a bit.
Ate you playing lich on 0.9? Care to share the build? There are so many variations, I’m kinda feeling lost lol
Wish I could do something with spirit plague instead of wandering spirits /hungering souls

Echoes with Idol Rewards are not very rare and they are quite frequent in Empowered monolith. You'll find plenty of those if you keep grinding

You can play each area at level 100 then and unlocked from corruption (normally locked to 50 per area).
Better loot
