- Never mind that it was made in the early 2000's... the Roland EXR-3s is a glut of great sounds that are well-sampled and broadly usable. Add on a modest but rock-solid collection of effects and some sweet, detailed accompaniment styles and you've got a handsome keyboard that'll get the basics done for the next few decades. Great keyboard!

That has some great tones !
Just by the look, I knew it's from the early 2000 and I was right hahaha, great sounds!
Classic :) #gearfacts
love your work - another great keyboard that you dont need a computor / engineering / sound effects degree to work.
Yeah it's a good one alright - not showing its age one bit :) #gearfacts
Thank you for the great video. It actually made us go ahead and grab a used one locally just a week ago. I have to say, it really does offer some nice sounds and functionality.
Would you by any chance happen to know of a music rest that fits the EXR-3s. I cannot find one for the life of me.
Glad you liked the video. As for a music rest, I'm not sure but I do know that most music rests can be quite easily modified to fit almost any keyboard. An ordinary hacksaw is ideal for cutting the 'feet' to the right size. Another option is to get a sheet of perspex, cut it to an approximately correct shape then apply some heat to get the correct 'lean' angle. Finding an original one would be very hard, so you might have to get resourceful with this one!
Gearfacts can you please make a video about the roland ra 50
Anyone wouldn't happen to know where to get the OS update for the EXR-3s? It seems to have disappeared from the official Roland site.

Hi just a question how does it play midi files and if it does how do it loads… does it have usb port our it’s still use floppy disk, our card…
It pays standard midi files via midi ports or through USB
Do u have any idea on how to turn it on???
Haven't had this one for a long time, hard to remember... At the back near the power-in socket?
I have one, and it's a decent keyboard, but none of the B-3 sounds are worth a penny. Wondering if Roland ever provided any software (as Yamaha does) to download additional organ patches???
I'm not aware of any such software. I guess midi control of external devices is the only way.
How to lock beat tempo
Gearfacts what age do keyboards start getting old or really super old
2+ years and they start to look very out-of-style. But they last forever if looked after properly.
@@gearfacts my roland e 20 is 33 years old and its in very good condition for its its age
Im interested by heard nothing i liked. If that makes sense
Do you have any for sale?
NO but I'm picking up an EXR-7 tomorrow. It'll probably be sold after I make a video about it.
