Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has been detained for questioning today in connection with an alleged murder of a man, police said. Darshan's wife, Pavithra Gowda, has also been taken into police custody in connection with the case.

There are so many options like blocking the person trolling you or filing a complaint with the cyber police. Darshan could easily have used his influence to put pressure on the police to arrest Renukaswamy. Had Darshan done that, Renukaswamy would have been the one behind bars and Darshan's life would have continued as usual.
Unfortunately, Pavithra Gowda and Darshan never had the patience for all that. They assumed they were above the law.
