Ive been looking for a class that only requires 3-4 skills in its rotation for 2 weeks now, everytime I've asked on the discord I just get told there isn't any like that and finally I see this. I don't care if its 20% less efficient than some classes for me its all about how comfortable it is to play. Thanks for this I will be leveling a tamer tomorrow.

i've been playing succ tamu for quite a long time and altho i do think mounted heilang is a meme (and i wouldn't advocate it as a default for most anyone considering how strong succ tamers kit is in of itself)...... i think a lot of ppl who might hate on the concept of this video (i.e. getting something about our class nerfed, or causing it to become fotm etc) forget that there's a lot to be said about the viability of this for people who may have disabilities or just want something easier to grind on. you're definitely not going to clear as fast as you would off of heilang, but i'm sure there are a lot of people who just want to press fewer buttons or worry less about dying who will really love this, and i appreciate you taking the time and effort to make this. thanks duo!!!!! p.s. i've been subbed to u forever ty for always giving back to the community with ur thorough testing and kind demeanor xoxo
Ive been trying it and its so chill. Just... chill as fck. Mind you I always play squishy classes and often the bad grinder known as succ ranger (no WoTW spam, cause I dont like playing like that, I want to actually pew pew, otherwise i could just go awak instead) , but this is just super chill. Crazy. Sadly, cant mount heilang in black shrines. big sad. I dont like doing black shrines xD was hoping to make those less of a chore.

I've had some luck extracting the data from screenshots of tooltips using ChatGPT and whatever the script was that it used seemed like it would be easy enough to apply in batch to all tooltips for a given class. I once scraped the XML files from BDO codex too (or something, been a minute) but it wasn't very well structured so I gave up on parsing it to get these numbers. Recording the duration of each skill is probably the easiest part, but this would be really interesting in PvE and PvP. I think once you get that, calculating the frames saved by cancels and hit acceleration would also be needed since a lot of classes like Awake tamer, succ Ninja etc. really rely on that to spike DPS and it definitely matters a lot at back attack spots like Darkseekers where if you can get that last bit of DPS out before they turn the whole pack dies for e.g. For a long time I've wanted to see a leaderboard for Marni's realm at each spot, with some mediocre epeen rewards for the most mobs killed in that 1h5m per class/spec every week for the most mobs killed. It would be good to just have a baseline for clear speed that would make not just the top level performance but also the range a bit easier to think about.
As the most underrated chillest class in the game THANK YOU. Mounted tamer is the Most new player friendly. Most relaxed boss killer. Most fun to drive up a mountain and jump off with no damage. Easiest to undergear and still play Anywhere with friends. Oops,did you lose your horse? No problem. Tamer is just fun. I even created a guild for those tamer minded people that actually want to just have fun. I can always tag the latest meta class for 8-thumb grinding, but,meme or not, mounted tamer is just different. Thanks for the brief spotlight before the 'experts' dissect this.
As a cooked Tamer main thanks for this vid 🤗 I won't disrespect Heilang anymore and try to grind on him. About the guardian dmg she has access to self buff and rage so I think she gets a bit of an advantage vs mounted there
Any new viewers watching this video. Mounted tamer is looking to be nerfed when the new evasion / dr update comes out. Unless they add Heilang Skills to the addon skill screen. Mounted skills will no longer proc the corresponding skill addons. Which is a huge nerf. Rip Heilang.
Oof that sucks. In 2016 I made Tamer first because of Heilang but it was underwhelming beyond belief so I swapped classes. I've been seeing Tamers around a bit more and it seems a lot more fun now so I was gonna try to get into it again. Right before a big nerf though? Ugh... >.< So many classes and specs I like are meh... (prime example being succ Ranger)

Yay finally something to link whenever the noobs come into the class discord asking about mounted pve! Im not an advocate for grinding on mounted but i do see a niche for it problem is that you have to pump your ap and spend less on dp and rush endgame spots because midgame cant be even remotely viable. I will say that normal succ in pve is quite good and to someone who knows the class they will find pve to be just as safe and easy as on mounted so honestly after a while i dont think mounted is viable but i can see a lot of lazy grinders swapping to it only to swap off bc they already have played pve tags like the casters. If pa decides to nerf it i wouldnt even care lol also bolt has no dmg falloff while jolt loses the crit only
u sure ? i know bolt has no dmg reduction but on jolt it does say "less dmg in cooldown(pve)" in the description , is it rly full dmg but with no crit ?
was gonna say the same thing, really simplifies gear progression to just get more AP brackets and so many new players agonize over the decision to focus AP vs. DP, and when to switch back and forth to target the next tier of grind spot. This is super useful info. Also the shade throw at the start with "experienced tamers ALL say this isn't viable! Hold my shortsword, losers..." to paraphrase the beginning of the video is a great hook lol. Definitely got my attention! Definitely for a Tamer that is already good with the kit it's not a viable alternative, but it takes a long time to get to that point and maybe more ppl try Tamer from this. Great video man, ty
@@stardawggunrocks5152 even for myself , i DO enjoy succ tamer's kit , i played it a bit here and there and definitely before i discovered heilang , im just barely a casual at it to a point where i get the same speeds for more effort atm , for me atm succ tamer is not rly faster other than gyfins where i did pull 30-32k on her . At some point i will put more hours into that but for now coming from awakening guardian , heilang is just so chill and easy to use that i cant help but love it . Just did 1 more hour today at trolls , pushed it to 9.2k trash now from the 8.6-8.7k in the video , its all about killing the first 3 adds faster and optimizing a bit more heilangs small aoes , im having fun on it and at the end of the day thats all that matters , i enjoy the game :)

it still works but with no add-ons it makes it less viable for high end uncapped spots , works the same for spots where u can get to their ap cap , like trolls , virtually no change without add-ons , but at a spot like Highlands or dark seekers u will feel the lower dmg
the awakening guardian issue with the dps is that the combo is actually "hold shift, Q-R-LMB-RMB then s-rmb" and holding appropriately for flows, and repeat :P
I'm so confused by your comment. what exactly are you saying the skill order is? R does nothing, unless you're using R for rupture? and no sLMB att speed buff? Im very doubtful this is even close to the dps of either of the ones up there....

he does , u do more dmg with elvia buffs or the gyfin color/butcher buffs on. DP might also work but i just think it is a very ... how do i put it , when u are mounted your char takes maybe 5% of the dmg its supposed to while heilang is the main one being hit so i suppose DP makes YOU tanker but heilang has the same scaling like , i think when u SUMMON him he gets a very tiny bit of your DP if any at all.... Let me rephrase this , YOU deal dmg , its not pet dmg , but HEILANG is being hit , so more AP = u do more dmg and buffs work but since your char doesnt TANK the dmg then DP buffs are kinda irrelevant.
Hi you catched my interest on that type of playing, any new infos on how she is at lower gyfin, i mostly grind there atm, maybe i soon go to Hexe Tbh i see mysefl maining this if they give Heilang a slight buff And things like being able to repair while mounted and using rage while mounted etc
decent i would say , probably about the same or a bit better than awakening guardian movement , maybe just about the same cuz u only rly have shift space to dash forwaard and then u sprint the rest cuz sprinting doesnt consume stamina mounted

I went there a few weeks ago and got I believe 35k-36.5k or so trash on yellow and agris , and I tried , I did like 2-3h so that's more or less the best imo , maybe u can push 37k with more practice but not 40k for sure cuz u can't onephase legs , u need to bait the first hit every time
Have you tried Heilang at highlands or tungrad ruins? Also just to double check, you get near 100% crit rate on S+RMB because add-ons (30%), level 5 (18%), and innate 50% crit on ability? Does the innate 50% crit also always apply even when on CD?
I'm a Succession Tamer Main. I can take my Tamer to Tungrad Ruins and see how Heilang does, but I won't take it to Highlands since I know for a fact Heilang will do poorly there since DPS is top priority at Highlands and if you have low DPS, you're losing out on LOTS of silver / loot per hour. And Heilang does 1/2 to 3/4 of Tamer's damage depending on the spot, how fast you can get back attacks, and less self buffs or debuffs since Heilang has his own set of self buffs and debuffs from Tamer herself. But from when I _did_ use Heilang a while back at Tungrad Ruins back when it was new, it took me pretty long to kill the mobs on him AND the mobs pretty much shredded his HP. Tungrad mobs do over 10k+ HP damage in 1 combo and can 1 shot you if you're CC or Back Attack. So if you were to take Heilang to Tungrad... from old experience... Pros: Can practice to see how the mobs skills look and see how they react to players to learn them better, and to see how tanky the monsters are and to figure out their mechanics if there are any. Cons: At high end spots, monsters typically have more Accuracy and Damage than low and mid end spots, so trying to face tank everything without actually dodging will result in Heilang dying or you losing DPS, Loot, or Time having to resummon and mount him and a chance of dying in terms of him dying and immediately after he dies, a mob uses a combo and now you're dead too. In conclusion, if you just wanna play a lazy class for high end and better damage and more HP and Self Buffs and Heals, you're better off playing Shai, Witch, or Wizard than Heilang on Tamer. 😂 Remember this is coming from a 3 year old Tamer main. Edit: Did a hour of Tungrad this morning, and at my last 5min i decided to waste it on Heilang. And turns out i was correct. The mobs move much too fast so can't get many back attacks, and Heilang attacks too slow, so can't keep Tungrad mobs CC'd long enough before they realize they don't need a leader to lead then. lol Seems like it takes Heilang 2-3x as long to kill a pack of Tungrad mobs than it does Tamer to do so. I can shred the mobs as Tamer even if i forgot my buffs(Which i did in the first 4min of starting) and still hit the mobs harder than Heilang. Also, you might already be familar that some classes can initiate a quick CC on the weird skinny guy rendering a green buff to melt the minions faster. Welp, Heilang doesnt have enough DPS to CC the guy fast enough which means he need to manually kill each pack the slow casual way, which will result in a HUGE disadvantage and lost in silver/buff time. Still didn't try Highlands yet, but i still believe it isn't worth it since Highlands is all about speed and high DPS. But i'll try it real quick to see how Heilang does killing the legs, and then see if he can kill the body fast enough. Edit 2: Just took Heilang to Highlands, and i was right again, lmao Did a quick Core melt to see how he fares. I didn't have a Perfume, but i did have a Draught, and i gave Heilang Z Buff and Absorb Buff. Per each leg swipe, he did about 15-20% of it's HP in damage to the leg. And Did not Overload the Core at all. So i was curious and since by Draught buff just ended from Tungrad, all I had was Church, Food, and Tent buff left for Tamer, so I killed the leg and Core with her. Took her about 2-3 Leg swipes(Could have been 2 swipes but he auto swiped after swapping to Tamer from heilang) and i got the Leg to 50% HP per swipe with no buffs except the usual 1hr. buffs. lol As for the core, i managed to also Overload it, with no buffs as well. So seems like Heilang is good if you wanna be lazy and grind slowly, but Tamer is still the way to go OR actual meta classes that surpass her while still using less effort. lol Hope this helped you. xD

I just want to know how bad in terms of trash per hour. Though they are changing tungrad ruins soon so maybe heilang will do slightly better than it can now. Despite knowing how much better tamer on foot is, I just like the idea of riding a mount into combat.

I thought that every class can be more easy if their AP and DP more than 300 AP ++ and 400 DP ++.. especially have triple Deboreka.. like yours.. which the problem is while the AP and DP lower than 300 AP and 400 DP and doesnt have Triple Deboreka... what will you do..
succ zerker is faster so that one , zerker train is unbeatable in season speed , maybe a pro awaken nova can match it or do better for WAY more effort so , zerker
Duo, i have a question, you mentioned special deals and i do know what that is from back in the day however i have no idea how you go about turning it on today, so how do you turn special deals on? where is the option for it, are there new requirements for it?
You have to be in a party and click the cog wheel in the party list, you’ll see the two check boxes with 1M and Not Yet Set options. The silver option sells everything above that value on the CM, but the item grade option works a bit better if you’re trying to sell everything green grade and up. Just make sure one box is checked.
sadly i did not , i meant to at some point then delayed it and eventually forgot , i dont expect heilang to shine there since most of the speed gains come from the leg kill speed , maybe he could pull a decent 34-35k trash idk

Yeah currently on global labs. You can't proc addons while mounted. There is no option to select mounted skills for addons. And even if there was the ability to select mounted skills for addons, you then miss addons for succ skills. Massive Mounted Tamer Nerf.. Rip

Truly I think its nice that you can do this to a degree where you're enjoying the game, but I think this exercises one of the biggest problems with BDO as a game. This spec is still unfinished with too many Qol problems. Skill buffs/debuffs not working. U cant interract with objects which kills all elvia spots. Clunky movement/pozitioning combined with unfinished/nerfed heilang command skills kills this spec. The only spot i was intrested is Gyfin; just to see how u manage movement. The only skillbuff is working is on Trample/space(20% crit), any reason for not using it?
bad dmg and the crit buff is useless , as long as u have lvl 5 crit and 30% addon u have 100% crit rate with 1 skill being at 98% , not worth using space unless u need to cc the city of the dead wizard

Dont bother. From global labs it looks like its getting well nerfed. Unless you plan on grinding at mid game spots that you are already at the AP Limit.
Use her all you want as you ease back into the game. Mounted is like an easy button...or 4 buttons in this case. Don't expect to brag about your numbers to the meta classes, but your fingers will thank you. Lol.
I think I fail hard at orcs; I hear everyone getting such high numbers and with 301 AP Meagu I got at most.. I think 18k? With lvl 2 loot scroll and I think even agris, as short as that lasts anyway. Absolutely dog dung numbers. Been a while since I've last been there, but my numbers sucked with all 3 classes I tried there so I just do stuff wrong I guess xD Got 316 AP now.. and what am I grinding? Weaker Elvia Serendia spots because I still need my cups lmao. Only have the neck one. (Yeah I know that prob plays a part in my grinding efficiency as well, but c'mon it's orcs. 301 AP with a couple BIS and couple decent pre-loml pve crystals and triple pen blackstar and tent buff should be plenty right... They're pretty weak. I just do terribly there. Don't think capped 60 fps with some dips is a good excuse either xD I just suck)
I don't play any guardian or tamer, so I don't know the skill details, but the damage difference could be made back if guardian has high crit rate and accuracy on skills
i forgot to bring it up , with the correct crit addon and lvl 5 crit heilang had 100% crit rate on the whole combo i do , guardian is 100% too and same for the tamer combo i showed , so crit isnt an issue . You can argue guardian has more crit dmg when she has her E buff up so that may make up a bit but honestly its mostly the big aoes , guardian just hits a lot at once so in many spots that's enough. I recently (past 2 weeks) went to Elvia Trolls and i can pull 8.6k-ish on both AW Guardian and Heilang so they seem pretty matched in a spot where mobs dont die too fast and u need back attacks and a combo. There may be more variations like some classes getting back attacks more reliably or enough accuracy to not need any acc crystals and such but still , im happy with this outcome , it proved what i kept telling ppl on stream over the past month or 2 , that in MOST cases heilang seems to be 10-20% slower and your normal grinder , regular classes , good tradeoff if u wanna turn off your brain and never worry about dying xD
@@Kryforest forgot about the class passives to account for guardian, didnt even know she has crit dmg passive xD also yeah i know att speed doesnt work on heilang , neither does movement speed , it's why i made the 2 test with and without bsr buff , i just averaged them to have a somewhat fair comparison since in most high end spots u dont have 100% bsr uptime. With that say 5% more dmg o nguardian i can see her matching heilang in dps , its just her aoes are bigger so that helps
This is why I have 3+ Tamer alts. Shes good for boss fights too and requires minimal gear. I ran my main tamer at ash forest primarily when my hands were tired or I wasn't able to pay full attention to the grind. Shes slower than my main grinder by a good 20-30%
@@emeukal7683 my current tag is woosa + witch, I change them around and really got into tamer after a tag event and realized I couldn’t die. I stopped playing tamer as a tag when I left ash forest. It was easy to just chill and get Debo drops when I barely had the gear to be there. I was just on the edge of the reqs. Now at 310 ap and still use tamers as boss kill alts. I was considering brining my tamer tag back when this video popped up. Duo is way better at it than I was so I’m definitely testing his combos and build out next time I swap my tags… problem is like he said the AOE is small and a lot of spots really benefit from massive AOEs. So tamer would always be something I’d run if I wasn’t trying to push it very hard. I played valk for about 4 years so I’m used to being at the bottom of the meta. I’m pretty sure I could pull more trash on my valk. But yea if you did a lot or your hands hurt from grinding it’s really nice. Plus no one messes with me tamer.😝 Tamer is my slowest grinder except succ nova
kinda happy i did the dmg numbers for tamer too , at least i get some confirmation that YES tamer is supposed to grind faster than heilang , for me personally i didn;t bring it up in the video but other than Gyfins where i got 34k trash in a VERY rng carried hour or 30kish usually , everywhere else i took succ tamer for a brief session here and there she did the same as heilang speed wise , and i just wrote it off as too much effort to MAYBE be faster , i know she can be but i guess i suck at it atm xD
rip xD i always memorized skills by buttons for any class i played , even stuff like corsair/guardian which i mained for the longest time , i hardly recall maybe SOME skills by name , even then i have to think hard @.@

yes it does , that's why i use elixir rot , so go ap monkey with 1 elkar or more if u need more accuracy , i run 1-3 acc crystals depending on spot and then the rest full ap

It's a good topic for a big project someday maybe but i would need to have every class , or make them as trials and then someone tell me how to do their combos , or just ask for clips from ppl who play them , who knows , maybe someday
I've had some luck extracting the data from screenshots of tooltips using ChatGPT and whatever the script was that it used seemed like it would be easy enough to apply in batch to all tooltips for a given class. I once scraped the XML files from BDO codex too (or something, been a minute) but it wasn't very well structured so I gave up on parsing it to get these numbers. Recording the duration of each skill is probably the easiest part, but this would be really interesting in PvE and PvP. I think once you get that, calculating the frames saved by cancels and hit acceleration would also be needed since a lot of classes like Awake tamer, succ Ninja etc. really rely on that to spike DPS and it definitely matters a lot at back attack spots like Darkseekers where if you can get that last bit of DPS out before they turn the whole pack dies for e.g.
For a long time I've wanted to see a leaderboard for Marni's realm at each spot, with some mediocre epeen rewards for the most mobs killed in that 1h5m per class/spec every week for the most mobs killed. It would be good to just have a baseline for clear speed that would make not just the top level performance but also the range a bit easier to think about.

As the most underrated chillest class in the game THANK YOU. Mounted tamer is the Most new player friendly. Most relaxed boss killer. Most fun to drive up a mountain and jump off with no damage. Easiest to undergear and still play Anywhere with friends. Oops,did you lose your horse? No problem. Tamer is just fun. I even created a guild for those tamer minded people that actually want to just have fun. I can always tag the latest meta class for 8-thumb grinding, but,meme or not, mounted tamer is just different. Thanks for the brief spotlight before the 'experts' dissect this.

Any new viewers watching this video. Mounted tamer is looking to be nerfed when the new evasion / dr update comes out. Unless they add Heilang Skills to the addon skill screen. Mounted skills will no longer proc the corresponding skill addons. Which is a huge nerf. Rip Heilang.
Oof that sucks. In 2016 I made Tamer first because of Heilang but it was underwhelming beyond belief so I swapped classes. I've been seeing Tamers around a bit more and it seems a lot more fun now so I was gonna try to get into it again. Right before a big nerf though? Ugh... >.< So many classes and specs I like are meh... (prime example being succ Ranger)

Yay finally something to link whenever the noobs come into the class discord asking about mounted pve! Im not an advocate for grinding on mounted but i do see a niche for it problem is that you have to pump your ap and spend less on dp and rush endgame spots because midgame cant be even remotely viable. I will say that normal succ in pve is quite good and to someone who knows the class they will find pve to be just as safe and easy as on mounted so honestly after a while i dont think mounted is viable but i can see a lot of lazy grinders swapping to it only to swap off bc they already have played pve tags like the casters. If pa decides to nerf it i wouldnt even care lol also bolt has no dmg falloff while jolt loses the crit only
u sure ? i know bolt has no dmg reduction but on jolt it does say "less dmg in cooldown(pve)" in the description , is it rly full dmg but with no crit ?

was gonna say the same thing, really simplifies gear progression to just get more AP brackets and so many new players agonize over the decision to focus AP vs. DP, and when to switch back and forth to target the next tier of grind spot. This is super useful info. Also the shade throw at the start with "experienced tamers ALL say this isn't viable! Hold my shortsword, losers..." to paraphrase the beginning of the video is a great hook lol. Definitely got my attention!

@@stardawggunrocks5152 even for myself , i DO enjoy succ tamer's kit , i played it a bit here and there and definitely before i discovered heilang , im just barely a casual at it to a point where i get the same speeds for more effort atm , for me atm succ tamer is not rly faster other than gyfins where i did pull 30-32k on her . At some point i will put more hours into that but for now coming from awakening guardian , heilang is just so chill and easy to use that i cant help but love it . Just did 1 more hour today at trolls , pushed it to 9.2k trash now from the 8.6-8.7k in the video , its all about killing the first 3 adds faster and optimizing a bit more heilangs small aoes , im having fun on it and at the end of the day thats all that matters , i enjoy the game :)

it still works but with no add-ons it makes it less viable for high end uncapped spots , works the same for spots where u can get to their ap cap , like trolls , virtually no change without add-ons , but at a spot like Highlands or dark seekers u will feel the lower dmg
the awakening guardian issue with the dps is that the combo is actually "hold shift, Q-R-LMB-RMB then s-rmb" and holding appropriately for flows, and repeat :P
I'm so confused by your comment. what exactly are you saying the skill order is? R does nothing, unless you're using R for rupture? and no sLMB att speed buff? Im very doubtful this is even close to the dps of either of the ones up there....

he does , u do more dmg with elvia buffs or the gyfin color/butcher buffs on.
DP might also work but i just think it is a very ... how do i put it , when u are mounted your char takes maybe 5% of the dmg its supposed to while heilang is the main one being hit so i suppose DP makes YOU tanker but heilang has the same scaling like , i think when u SUMMON him he gets a very tiny bit of your DP if any at all....
Let me rephrase this , YOU deal dmg , its not pet dmg , but HEILANG is being hit , so more AP = u do more dmg and buffs work but since your char doesnt TANK the dmg then DP buffs are kinda irrelevant.

decent i would say , probably about the same or a bit better than awakening guardian movement , maybe just about the same cuz u only rly have shift space to dash forwaard and then u sprint the rest cuz sprinting doesnt consume stamina mounted

I went there a few weeks ago and got I believe 35k-36.5k or so trash on yellow and agris , and I tried , I did like 2-3h so that's more or less the best imo , maybe u can push 37k with more practice but not 40k for sure cuz u can't onephase legs , u need to bait the first hit every time
Have you tried Heilang at highlands or tungrad ruins? Also just to double check, you get near 100% crit rate on S+RMB because add-ons (30%), level 5 (18%), and innate 50% crit on ability? Does the innate 50% crit also always apply even when on CD?
I'm a Succession Tamer Main. I can take my Tamer to Tungrad Ruins and see how Heilang does, but I won't take it to Highlands since I know for a fact Heilang will do poorly there since DPS is top priority at Highlands and if you have low DPS, you're losing out on LOTS of silver / loot per hour. And Heilang does 1/2 to 3/4 of Tamer's damage depending on the spot, how fast you can get back attacks, and less self buffs or debuffs since Heilang has his own set of self buffs and debuffs from Tamer herself. But from when I _did_ use Heilang a while back at Tungrad Ruins back when it was new, it took me pretty long to kill the mobs on him AND the mobs pretty much shredded his HP. Tungrad mobs do over 10k+ HP damage in 1 combo and can 1 shot you if you're CC or Back Attack. So if you were to take Heilang to Tungrad... from old experience...
Pros: Can practice to see how the mobs skills look and see how they react to players to learn them better, and to see how tanky the monsters are and to figure out their mechanics if there are any.
Cons: At high end spots, monsters typically have more Accuracy and Damage than low and mid end spots, so trying to face tank everything without actually dodging will result in Heilang dying or you losing DPS, Loot, or Time having to resummon and mount him and a chance of dying in terms of him dying and immediately after he dies, a mob uses a combo and now you're dead too.
In conclusion, if you just wanna play a lazy class for high end and better damage and more HP and Self Buffs and Heals, you're better off playing Shai, Witch, or Wizard than Heilang on Tamer. 😂
Remember this is coming from a 3 year old Tamer main.
Edit: Did a hour of Tungrad this morning, and at my last 5min i decided to waste it on Heilang. And turns out i was correct. The mobs move much too fast so can't get many back attacks, and Heilang attacks too slow, so can't keep Tungrad mobs CC'd long enough before they realize they don't need a leader to lead then. lol Seems like it takes Heilang 2-3x as long to kill a pack of Tungrad mobs than it does Tamer to do so. I can shred the mobs as Tamer even if i forgot my buffs(Which i did in the first 4min of starting) and still hit the mobs harder than Heilang. Also, you might already be familar that some classes can initiate a quick CC on the weird skinny guy rendering a green buff to melt the minions faster. Welp, Heilang doesnt have enough DPS to CC the guy fast enough which means he need to manually kill each pack the slow casual way, which will result in a HUGE disadvantage and lost in silver/buff time. Still didn't try Highlands yet, but i still believe it isn't worth it since Highlands is all about speed and high DPS. But i'll try it real quick to see how Heilang does killing the legs, and then see if he can kill the body fast enough.
Edit 2: Just took Heilang to Highlands, and i was right again, lmao
Did a quick Core melt to see how he fares. I didn't have a Perfume, but i did have a Draught, and i gave Heilang Z Buff and Absorb Buff. Per each leg swipe, he did about 15-20% of it's HP in damage to the leg. And Did not Overload the Core at all.
So i was curious and since by Draught buff just ended from Tungrad, all I had was Church, Food, and Tent buff left for Tamer, so I killed the leg and Core with her. Took her about 2-3 Leg swipes(Could have been 2 swipes but he auto swiped after swapping to Tamer from heilang) and i got the Leg to 50% HP per swipe with no buffs except the usual 1hr. buffs. lol As for the core, i managed to also Overload it, with no buffs as well. So seems like Heilang is good if you wanna be lazy and grind slowly, but Tamer is still the way to go OR actual meta classes that surpass her while still using less effort. lol

I just want to know how bad in terms of trash per hour. Though they are changing tungrad ruins soon so maybe heilang will do slightly better than it can now. Despite knowing how much better tamer on foot is, I just like the idea of riding a mount into combat.

Duo, i have a question, you mentioned special deals and i do know what that is from back in the day however i have no idea how you go about turning it on today, so how do you turn special deals on? where is the option for it, are there new requirements for it?
You have to be in a party and click the cog wheel in the party list, you’ll see the two check boxes with 1M and Not Yet Set options. The silver option sells everything above that value on the CM, but the item grade option works a bit better if you’re trying to sell everything green grade and up. Just make sure one box is checked.

Yeah currently on global labs. You can't proc addons while mounted. There is no option to select mounted skills for addons. And even if there was the ability to select mounted skills for addons, you then miss addons for succ skills. Massive Mounted Tamer Nerf.. Rip

This spec is still unfinished with too many Qol problems. Skill buffs/debuffs not working. U cant interract with objects which kills all elvia spots. Clunky movement/pozitioning combined with unfinished/nerfed heilang command skills kills this spec.
The only spot i was intrested is Gyfin; just to see how u manage movement.
The only skillbuff is working is on Trample/space(20% crit), any reason for not using it?
bad dmg and the crit buff is useless , as long as u have lvl 5 crit and 30% addon u have 100% crit rate with 1 skill being at 98% , not worth using space unless u need to cc the city of the dead wizard

I think I fail hard at orcs; I hear everyone getting such high numbers and with 301 AP Meagu I got at most.. I think 18k? With lvl 2 loot scroll and I think even agris, as short as that lasts anyway. Absolutely dog dung numbers. Been a while since I've last been there, but my numbers sucked with all 3 classes I tried there so I just do stuff wrong I guess xD

(Yeah I know that prob plays a part in my grinding efficiency as well, but c'mon it's orcs. 301 AP with a couple BIS and couple decent pre-loml pve crystals and triple pen blackstar and tent buff should be plenty right... They're pretty weak. I just do terribly there. Don't think capped 60 fps with some dips is a good excuse either xD I just suck)

I don't play any guardian or tamer, so I don't know the skill details, but the damage difference could be made back if guardian has high crit rate and accuracy on skills
i forgot to bring it up , with the correct crit addon and lvl 5 crit heilang had 100% crit rate on the whole combo i do , guardian is 100% too and same for the tamer combo i showed , so crit isnt an issue .
You can argue guardian has more crit dmg when she has her E buff up so that may make up a bit but honestly its mostly the big aoes , guardian just hits a lot at once so in many spots that's enough.
I recently (past 2 weeks) went to Elvia Trolls and i can pull 8.6k-ish on both AW Guardian and Heilang so they seem pretty matched in a spot where mobs dont die too fast and u need back attacks and a combo.
There may be more variations like some classes getting back attacks more reliably or enough accuracy to not need any acc crystals and such but still , im happy with this outcome , it proved what i kept telling ppl on stream over the past month or 2 , that in MOST cases heilang seems to be 10-20% slower and your normal grinder , regular classes , good tradeoff if u wanna turn off your brain and never worry about dying xD
@@Duodecil guardian also gets 10% crit dmg from her passive so that's gonna bump her numbers up by like 5%, tho it's still pretty close.
oh, also, heilang isn't affected by attack speed at all and you're not using BSR a lot of the time so your average dps decreases based on that.

also yeah i know att speed doesnt work on heilang , neither does movement speed , it's why i made the 2 test with and without bsr buff , i just averaged them to have a somewhat fair comparison since in most high end spots u dont have 100% bsr uptime.
With that say 5% more dmg o nguardian i can see her matching heilang in dps , its just her aoes are bigger so that helps

This is why I have 3+ Tamer alts. Shes good for boss fights too and requires minimal gear. I ran my main tamer at ash forest primarily when my hands were tired or I wasn't able to pay full attention to the grind. Shes slower than my main grinder by a good 20-30%

@@emeukal7683 my current tag is woosa + witch, I change them around and really got into tamer after a tag event and realized I couldn’t die. I stopped playing tamer as a tag when I left ash forest. It was easy to just chill and get Debo drops when I barely had the gear to be there. I was just on the edge of the reqs. Now at 310 ap and still use tamers as boss kill alts. I was considering brining my tamer tag back when this video popped up. Duo is way better at it than I was so I’m definitely testing his combos and build out next time I swap my tags… problem is like he said the AOE is small and a lot of spots really benefit from massive AOEs. So tamer would always be something I’d run if I wasn’t trying to push it very hard. I played valk for about 4 years so I’m used to being at the bottom of the meta. I’m pretty sure I could pull more trash on my valk. But yea if you did a lot or your hands hurt from grinding it’s really nice. Plus no one messes with me tamer.😝
