I really like that expedition . My folks looked hard at one but went with the ranger 1500 xd North Star . They are both great machines. I own a hd9 defender and happy with it. I use to own a Jeep wrangler unlimited and did some off roading with it. It got really expensive really quick. Modifications and repairs . A side by side is the way to go for my needs.

Exactly the “get a jeep” crowd just don’t understand. Sure a 40k sxs may not be practical but such if life. Life is about living. Live life how you want. If I lived close to trails like you I would much rather have a sxs. Off roading is a special special hobby and way of life. I would take a built xpedition or ranger xd over a bronco or jeep any day.
The stereo in my xp5 is beyond rowdy! If someone is having a bad day set them in there turn volume to about 9 and say stay lol

You can do head work, cams proper tune, exhaust intake You can achieve up to about 130 reliable horsepower.... Or go forged eternals and add yor taste of turbo... Which ultimately would be the best bang for your buck overall...
You’ll notice the biggest difference with a clutch or gear reduction
