I've never had to or know anyone that had to frame notch for 22" rims... Looks Great Though...👍🏾
Wrong offset on 22s would require a frame notch…a lot of people unfortunately notch the frame because the wrong offset instead of getting wheels made for the car. Also if the car sits to low it will contact the frame.

Nice stance...like how the wheels are tucked under the car and the car is not lifted up in the air...I have an 84 Elko on 15inch cragars and if and when I change wheels I will be chasing that stance...nice ride!

You got the 7.5 rear end still? I kept mine in until it blew. If your planning on higher hp/ tq and driving hard often dump that little guy soon. Strange builds dana 60s for G bodys, I highly suggest one of those..

@@grindschool mine had the factory posi, soon as I tightened up the rear suspension and put new tires on, it couldn't handle 500foot pounds of torque lol.
@@sparkplug2646 jamalcoms car is supercharged and probably makes 400 HP at the tires and he hasn't broken his 7.5 with the slicks. but its gotta be done right. ive seen cars run 5.70s in the 1/8 with a 7.5 and not explode LOL just depends on who built it and whats in it
I'd keep that SBC Motor them LS Motors ain't running as strong as them SBC or BBC 🏁

What did you purchase to get it like I’m having issue right now with just some 20”s in my elco with some wide tires
I have coilovers on the El Co. Also you have to make sure the wheel offset is correct.
Small block sounding right! Do you know the specs? I'm tryna decide if I wanna Ls swap my ss monte carlo or just build the small block in it, I'm just tryna find a good recipe if I use the small block to get that choppy sound
Yeah it’s a 350 bored .30 over to a 355. It has a Comps Thumpr cam in it I don’t remember the specs on it though. It has aluminum 2.02 heads, headers and a weiend intake manifold edelbrock 650 carb. Car would probably get up and go if I had some gears in the rear end. If I had to redo it all over again I would’ve built an LS right out the gate. More power, more reliable and they sound great.
@@grindschoolohh ok that's a cool motor you got but I understand you wanting to ls swap. there's a huge aftermarket parts support and they don't take as much to get power out of them as the old small blocks, I'm only on the fence because of dealing with all those sensors and having to play with the tunes everytime you add a new part. I'm thinking about doing something like your elco setup but adding a fitech or something and ls swapping my impala but who knows I might change my mind lol
@@Certifiedtray310 thanks and yeah one of my big reasons is the carb. They don’t really like cold weather and I could do a Holley sniper or something. In order to add more power I have to go back into the motor on the small block. In an LS I can tune or add e-85 and tune after the build.

Approximately how much did you put into it? And how much do the rims cost?
I might be 15-20k into it and that’s just in parts and paint no labor at all. I did everything myself.

I’m a nuggets fan lol similar but I like the warriors too. I actually picked the colors because blue was my grandmothers favorite color and then I wanted a wheel that would be totally different than the normal so I went with brushed gold with the black barrel.
Did you just tell forgiato the year make and model and they cut them to fit them selves? I need those dimensions
I told my wheel shop what I wanted and they ordered them from Forgiato for me

Nice elco! 🔥. I have 24’s forgiatos on my gbody Mc. However, the front tires rub when I make a full turn. Any suggestions for fixture without frame notch? Thank you
Thank you so much. If the wheels are cut for the car with the correct back spacing, id probably go coilovers next so you can dial in the suspension perfectly or if you have to thick of a tire you might be able to go with a smaller size. If none of that works you’ll probably have to frame notch.

I don’t remember but @dashsgarage made a great in depth video on the c5 brake upgrade which has the part number for the studs in it
