  • Three shots rang out in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963, killing U.S. President John F. Kennedy and changing the world forever. Almost 60 years have passed since America’s 35th president was assassinated during a motorcade, and few moments in history are as visceral or powerful. The shocking event sparked a national fascination and conspiracy theories about whether Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in the murder of JFK.
This episode of History Stories revisits President Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy's tragic day and the aftermath of a crime that stunned the world.

My great grandfather and grandmother were present during his death. My great grandfather was a photographer and brought my grandmother (who was six) with him because she wanted to see the president and first lady in the flesh only to witness his end. She said it was the most horrible day of her life and that the memory still haunted her until her death last 2020. Sadly he burnt all of the pictures he had of JF. Kennedy, especially the pictures on that day and destroyed his camera the day after the incident. My great grandfather is still alive, but refuses to speak about it

How can a 24 year old school board worker take 2 back to back shots, from that distance, with such astonishing precision - 1 shot hit the back of his throat - that is a width of 3-4 inches, and the next hit the back of his head... how can anyone believe that someone who has not trained rigorously in the military or otherwise - could have such marksmanship? It's like William Tell shooting the arrow at an apple on his son's head. That too with all the noise on the day - nearly 150,000 people were in the crowd, and with all the people lingering around the vehicles - to fire such well timed, accurate shots? And that too, in the precise short moments - the 100 yards where the vehicle was moving in a straight line before it turns around a bend again. It is bloody obvious this was all planned to a tee!! It was a well thought, carefully made, perfectly timed plan. And who knows if LJB was in on it. He's the one who gained the most from the murder. The worst thing is that the actual killer or killers, have been walking around free for nearly 60 years, and might actually be alive today.

There is so much proof out there that Oswald didn't do this. He was eating a sandwich in the cafeteria and seen by multiple people at 12:26. We're expected to believe he finished, got upstairs and got off those precise shots in 4 minutes. Not to mention the motorcade was running behind, he couldn't have even known exactly when the President's car would be in the right spot to take a shot. There's so much more. It's crazy to believe any of it.

I've read that there were actually multiple plans, deliberately and on purpose, to throw people off and get them to fruitlessly argue amongst themselves as to what actually happened. We will probably never know the truth, just as Jack Ruby himself said before he died in prison. Oswald? I believe he was what he said he was - a patsy.

Every time I look at those JFK footage and photos I never understand why none of the law enforcement, CIA, or Secret Service agents who stayed in Dealey Plaza took a defensive stance and scanned the area when JFK was shot. This could have been for identification purposes, ensuring their safety and the safety of others, or just as a natural reaction to gunfire. Many citizens instinctively took cover, like the famous couple who shielded their children. Also, why didn't they immediately run and sweep all the areas around, looking for the shooter or shooters and establishing a perimeter? There might have been more than one, at the time they didn't know.

    Dear Commonwealth Club:
If the Secret Service had been on the two rear bumper foot stands on the limo with hand grips the shots would have been blocked. JFK did not want them there because he wanted himself and Jackie to be seen. It was always said that the rear bumper foot stands were not in the right place to protect the President anyway. This video clearly shows where the rear bumper foot stands were and would have protected the President. Also, it was always very obtuse about how Clint Hill got onto the back of the car with Jackie. Earlier windows of the footage show him riding on the side of the back up car. Somehow he managed to run up and jump on JFK's car stepping onto the bumper footstand and leaping onto the back of the car. Many accounts had him somehow walking along. So many strange stories. Strange these bumper stands were never brought up or revealed in the hundreds and hundreds of footage and photos I saw about the assasination. The bumper stands that were not there are there. Very mysterious. The hand rail to hang on is clearly visible on the right side of the car. More disproven conspiracy stories. It just goes on and on. Emory Roberts rode shotgun in the back up car head of the Secret Service Detail that day at Dealey Plaza. When the President got shot, Emory Roberts was in charge thereafter. Nobody ever talks about that. He took charge of everything, and immediately got Johnson onto Air Force One to leave Dallas and be sworn in going to Washington or if necessary a safe place to protect him. Emory was my neighbor in Wheaton, Md. on Holdridge Rd. Most of this is in Dealey Plaza - The End of Camelot

1:41 The fiction starts in this video. 3:15 This video conveniently omits Oswald claiming "I'm a patsy". 10:04 Oh, is that none other than Allen Dulles on the Warren Commission? Gee, I wonder what could go wrong here. Just freeze frame at this mark & take a good long look of the expressions of these shysters on that so-called "commission". One dude on the left is actually grinning at LBJ (He's not even on the Warren Commission staff). My God, these coup plotters have completed their cover-up!
Under the video..."conspiracy theories" about whether or not LHO acted alone. Guess what? Those conspiracy theories have just been validated 60 years later & your Fictional Warren Report "magic bullet" has been de-bunked by Jackie's own SS agent who revealed he found a bullet in the car & placed it on JFK's stretcher. GFY

Not one shred of evidence of anyone other than Oswald, 60 years and the mentally ill are still clinging to their childish conspiracy fantasies.
