i love how he knows his heroes name, age and city by heart.
Well i mean you cant forget the guy that saved you..?
@@steverb1413 A lot of donor recipients only know the general age and gender
@@LexitaMai Oh, I did not know that thank you!
I would also mention how proud he is saying his name
@@LexitaMaiAfter a few years, you can request their details.
He says "Mike Driskill" with such pride, he knows who his hero is
He sure did. I felt it.
What gets to me is the way he spoke of him with no knowledge he was nearby. That was a GENUINE expression of gratitude and a genuine expression of how much he considers the young man to be a part of his story. My actual HEART 😭😭
Brings tears to my eyes. He was so thankful, and the kindness brings my faith in humanity back n
I matched with a lady sick with leukemia and donated stem cells a couple weeks ago. I don’t know if I’ll get to meet the patient or her family, but I hope it was a blessing for them.
Bless your soul for giving somebody a chance to live! 🙏
It's little moments like this that give me hope for humanity & then I read the rest of NYP & there goes the hope.
This is my favorite donor recipient meeting. Kudos to those who organized it and recorded it.
He looks so amazing after such intense chemotherapy, what an amazing story. I know how hard chemo is even in small amounts
came back to watch this
Grown man with tears in my eyes this is awesome and amazing
I would call this giving of ones self.
Oh, man. It's so touching
This was so awesome I cryed it was a beautiful moment they will never forget thank you for sharing
Wish u speedy recovery

He ain’t ever gonna let anyone forget who saved him 🙏🏻. I hope my the person who got my best friends heart is grateful 🙏🏻
"How is it that you are two?"
"None of your beeswax."
Video ends.
Lol
What a beautiful story!
I’m crying it’s so cute
He’s so happy to be alive, I want tgat
How beautiful it was...
Years ago, I got an email saying that a little girl from Montana (I think, it's been a while) needed my help for a bone marrow transplant. I initially said yes, but was later told that the family backed out. I don't know for certain if she's still alive. I wish I could of helped like I wanted.
這就是緣分🥰
Real Angel 😍
Humanity is one of our greatest gifts
So nice ❤
Love this story so much
TEARS DROP
I love this one ❤
I was just bawling
Im not one for these types of videos because i feel like they're just for clout or whatever, but this put a smile on my face seeing the pure joy and love.
Okay literally bawling now
My humanity has been restored
I'm not crying you are
No we both are
This is what super heros look like
Lol I dropped a tear.
Not all doners give their details and don't want to be contacted. Which is a shame as this is so humbling.
Them dang onions 🥲
Wow❤
I got a bone marrow transplant not cancer it’s opposite but I had chemotherapy and tubes in my chest when I needed a transfusion
Way to give it away in the title & the first two seconds of the video. Glad I saw it on IG in order so it was more of a "wow" moment.
@New York Post, You spelled my last name wrong.
You're a hero
Bro...
it's you
@@cellfractionation Bro

The music was so loud
I never knew it was stagged
Wow! This man really wanted to live to undergo seven rounds of chemotherapy 👍👏👏👏🌟
GO BLUE!
Yup
This was a bone marrow donation not cancer but it still is an amazing story
Leukemia is a cancer of the blood
He needed a bone marrow transplant due to leukemia. Leukemia is cancer. What about this do you not understand?
Leukemia is cancer of the bloodcells.
Everyone under this videos is like: oh this is what i want. To help. To donate. To save live. That's why im registered...
An then theres me like: well we had a test at school and if you went to the donation register thingie you don't have to take the test and i was unprepared sooooo registration here i come
Btw. Got a letter in 2019 and unfortunately another human blood worked better so they didnt needed mine. But i stand with my word. No matter of which reason i did it. If someone needs my cells or bone marrow? Im there
there is no such thing as coincidence
I’m not crying your crying
F the guld
My Catholic neighbour received a Kidney from a Muslim donor who had died in a car accident. From then on she only ever ate Halal meat so as not to offend his memory.
Don’t talk about Jesus when you know you’re lying! This wasn’t a coincidence, this meeting was arranged.
