You refuse to accept the change because you're so fucking bullheaded that you automatically go for the one with the better sound, which was Tarja and/or Floor. Anette was overshadowed by a lot of fans like you who refused to accept the change that Nightwish made. Give her the chance before being so quick to judge her.

I think he's actually yelling, like I might if I were angry. The song is an angry, edgy one anyway, by what everyone seems to take from the lyrics. In this case, though, that also shows his vocal talent and skill; yelling within proper key. His vocal control in that case, well, he makes it seem easy! God, if I only had half that talent!

heres a quick recap: Tarja was fired because because she was a bit of a bitch, also his husband/agent was a dick too. Anette came after that. Sang until 2012, left from the band because of musical differences, Floor Jansen came and replaced her after that.
This was shortly after Tarja split from Nightwish- as I understand it, having models that very clearly can't replace the band members was to accentuate that Tarja would never find a replacement for the band and that they'd already replaced her.
I quit Nightwish when Tarja went away. I never listened to anything else except for now. I started the video and I was like "WHAT!? NIGHTWISH IS NOW ONLY GIRLS!? WHAT!?" Then I was relieved, but still this is "Nightpop" wtf seriously. Next step will be.... seeing Hayley Williams singing on Nightwish? (I love Hayley btw)

Floor, is quite good and is not as poppy as Abette. Tarja was mysterious but Floor is powerful. Try listening to the live wacken concert with floor.
