Sonny confronts AJ. Elizabeth and Sabrina show up at the Quartermaine mansion to try and persuade Tracy into funding the Nurses Ball. Later, Diane Miller shows up on behalf of Monica who is at the PCPD with Alice, and convinces her to drop the charges.

Still don't like how they ended up doing AJ but this storyline was a looooooong time coming. Carly (then portrayed by Sarah Brown) started the ball rollin when she messed up AJ's (then played by Billy Warlock) sobriety (drugged him, put him in an alley, poured alcohol on him) to get custody of Michael (because her track record was shot) and the writers get kudos for going back into the files and having this AJ remind her. Carly and Sonny deserve to take seats for years to come...

I'd like to point out that Monica testified AGAINST AJ for Jason in the custody of Michael AFTER she KNEW that AJ was his biological father...so she has no ground to stand on blaming Carly. Really, no one was innocent in this AJ, Carly, The Q's, Robin, Jason, NOBODY comes away clean in that story,

Amen! The thing about this that people rarely bring up is that Carly and AJ were friends when she drugged him and put him in that laundry basket. She needed to get him out of the way because he was going to interfere with her plan to pass the baby off as Tony's. AJ has made a ton of mistakes but Carly/Sonny/Jason robbed him of his chance to be a father to his son. Sonny has people killed so why wouldn't AJ believe it would happen to him if he didn't sign over his rights? In all these years Carly has never admitted she was wrong for what she did. The tart feels it was justified. I wish Michael would have stayed mad at Sonny after he MURDERED his real father. He let Sonny off way too easily.

AJ likes to forget his contributions to this disaster. All of this started because he was so vehemently jealous of Jason. Even before Michael was born, this was set in motion. Was Sonny the right choice to raise a child with, probably not. But given the circumstances, I can see why a young, naive woman would choose him over AJ and his crazy ass family.
I love this scene!!! Carly started this whole cycle by screwing over AJ who was her friend and stealing his child and Sonny joined in by illegally adopting him. AJ just wanted to be a part of his son's life, that's it.

I always wanted Sean's Aj with Sarah's Carly together. They would or could have had a wonderful relationship. They were friends before they slept together. They could have been each others best friend and way better than Carson was.

I'm so sick of people making excuses for A.J, A.J should have been locked up in prison back in 1995 when he caused his brother Jason's accident that robbed him of his identity & memories as Jason Quartermaine. He should have also been locked up after causing Carly to fall down the stairs of the Quartermaine Mansion killing her baby with Sonny. He NEVER deserved to be a father to Michael!
