The timing was based on Persian calendar and was announced by blowing horn as the call to come to work and participate in community farming, if able body. Judgment day was the day of harvesting and sharing the outcome amongst those who could prove they were involved in plowing and watering the crop. Landlords, water well owners/diggers and the providers of the seeds also were sharing the harvest.
I have memorized that surah, but after this khutbah, it won't feel the same. It's so heavy, the way ustadh describing it...
I agree with the other comments. Easily one of his best videos. You can feel the enthusiasm in that last ten minutes when he kept extending the khutbah so that he can explain even more to us. Beautiful khutbah. May Allah bless and reward Ustaz Nouman and all of our enthusiastic Islam scholars for their efforts to teach the ummah.

I wonder if human kings got the idea of having a throne from earlier revealed texts, in order to show their power.
Every Prophet would have warned their people of Judgement Day and these descriptions would have been given to those people in order to prepare them for it.
