Even though it was originally a Bassoon concerto, this arrangement truly makes it look as if from the very beginning it had been thought of as a concerto for the modern trumpet. Not only are there passages that Mozart wrote for the bassoon that are conveniently very idiomatic for the trumpet, but also the whole concerto works wonders in providing the audience with a soloist's virtuosity, which is the whole point of a concerto to begin with. Excellent arrangement, excellent transcription. Bravo!
Great Transcription! A transcription on Nakariakov’s Haydn Cello Concerto would be absolutely amazing!
さりげなく循環呼吸使ってるの流石すぎるよ
This concerto actually looks really playable
Excellent. Excellent. I would like to hear the phrasing in the 3rd movement mm 67&69 a little differently. The original version with the grace notes should be realized as a quick note before the quarter note.
Спасибо за репертуар!👍🎺
Amazing! Thank you!
This is so awesome!!! Thank you!!!!
amazing!!!!
MARAVILHOSO 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
From a bassoonist's point of view, I should be offended. We have so few concertos of our own, we feel proprietary about our music. Maybe I've grown up a bit, but I'm impressed with this performance. It's in a class with Big Maurice making a trumpet concerto from the Mozart oboe concerto.
It's like the bassoon concerto but shouted.
👍
