im 35 and have never had a driver's license , the reason why is because i understood that being a party animal/ drunken drug user and driving didnt mix, i chose to party instead of getting a DL because i didnt want to be the reason a little kid didnt get to be held by their mother again or the reason why a parent had to bury their child, i had a lot of fun times, and not once did i have to worry about killing someone because of my inhibited driving state , folks life is full of hard choices but deciding not to drink and drive shouldn't be one, and if a 16 year old boy can make a choice like that than yall as adults should have no problem making the same choice not to drink and drive , im six years sober and and cant wait to finnally get to be the one behind the wheel , god bless

When I lived in Japan, we very seldom saw police issuing traffic tickets. Instead, there were traffic cameras everywhere. I was speeding one day and a traffic camera detected my speed and snapped a photo. I received a citation in the mail with a picture of me at the wheel and the date, time, speed, and GPS location printed on the picture. It clocked me 15 MPH over the limit. The ticket was for $400 dollars. The citation clearly stated when I needed to pay the ticket by before I would be summoned to court. It was the last time I ever sped in Japan.

Semi Trucks are a deadly weapon with the weight they have. It takes more time to stop an 80,000 pound plus 18 wheeler. With all the intoxicated individuals on the road during holidays is astounding! Please DO NOT drink or use drugs while driving a #2 killing object! #1 being the 18 wheelers. A least one trucking company has sense. I wish other trucking companies will take this example to heart! Thank you for your dedication to delivering products to the stores or general public! @@andybub45 When traveling at over 100 mph it is very dangerous to get close to any vehicle, and at that speed you'd most likely rip the rear axle off the car and damage the patrol car in the process!! When stopping vehicles the officer is thinking to save lives, not take them, the car would have rolled after loosing the rear axle which could kill anyone in that vehicle. The nets are also connected to the front of the patrol vehicle so the officer's car would be pulled along at that speed!! What would be safer is a device to cut the ignition, stopping the motor and the car safely still under control and have braking abilities. Similar to running out of gasoline, no more power.
