- Here is the full Pac-Land OST, remastered by yours truly. Note that this isn't an attempt to mix the music differently with shitty MIDI files and soundfonts, all I've done was take the original Arcade audio, and cleaned up the audio so you can actually hear it, which is what you see here.
Notes: Happy 40th anniversary, Pac-Man. I noticed there hasn't been a decent upload of the music of this game on CZcams, so I decided to fix that. M1 + BridgeM1 playing the audio data from the game's ROM was the source of this remaster.

The fact that Pac-Maze in Smash died so that this stage could live and then not have any music from it is just insulting.
I like both stages, so I don't mind. Though, it is odd this song isn't included. Maybe because it was from the old Hanna Barbara Pac-Man cartoon. So it could be license issues.
Though, they had no problem including it in Namco Museum Archives Vol.2 on Switch Eshop.
@@beauwalker9820 And on Pac-Man Museum+ now. So i don’t see any reason for it not being included in Smash other than that the development team just didn’t like the music from this game or something, which is kind of sad, to be honest.
@@NTE-20XX Maybe it's some weird legal stipulation where they can use the music exclusively in PAC-LAND and rereleases of the game?
It's all very confusing legally with this kind of stuff.

PacLand is such an underrated gem.
5:54 I just love this enchanting melody. It’s absolutely like a happy ending to the game.
The Mansion parts are my favorite parts, favorite music too. I do remember the Pac-Man cartoon from my childhood, it was decent, and I remember that mansion theme from the cartoon, as well as the Outward Bound theme.
The main theme is actually composed by Hoyt Curtin, from the Hanna-Barbera show from 1982-1983. The Homeward theme is also based on a variation underscore of the show.
The 1st track (Outward BGM) is the theme from Hanna-Barbera's Pac-Man 1982 animated series, by Hoyt Curtin
Yeah, also Homeward is a variation also present in the series (perfectly arranged). The round end is the title card theme from the series, but the game over theme has a chord more similar to that.
Also found out that Monster's Mansion is based on Mezmaron's theme from the series.

pac-land is pretty epic
The music that pulled me in to the arcade cab and keep me there throughout my 2 week summer holiday. Love this game

The main theme is actually a rendition of the intro theme of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon. #TheMoreYouKnow

It’s really sad how Smash Fans say this is a bad game without playing it just because of the stage.

Pac-Land is a fun game for sure, but there’s something about the SSB stage that doesn’t really look great
But at the same time, I don’t mind the look of the original game..🤔

Pac-Land is a fantastic little side scroller that inspired Super Mario Bros a year after, the only issue is the odd control scheme.
