I like how, at the end, after they all die. There's no solemn message, there's no speech, there's no victory or defeat. There's just the piano, and the uncomfortable silence. The cost of what has happened. No one is going over to joke about nicknames, no regular is coming back to that table for Tiffany. No young adult is going to sit on that dock. It doesn't need words, or even powerful music. People with their own mistakes, habits, impressions upon this world, now quantified to nothing more than a number on a toll. And for the time they did fight, they had to endure something no man, woman or child could truly comprehend. Instead of laughing over that table that brought joy, ordering that coffee that alone brought comfort, sitting on that dock that brought tranquility. There's nothing. centaura is such a good game, mainly for the reason that you aren't important. you are just a cog in the murder machine that is war, with only one saying: "only the dead have seen the end of war." it has such a deep message, it makes you feel like you're actually participating in a war against 2 countries. the death counter at the end of every mission really makes you reflect on what just happened, because those massive death tolls are real things. thousands and even millions are killed in war and this game represents that perfectly with how easy it is to get mowed down, burnt alive, or just plain stabbed to death. because that's how it happens, you could be alive and well and the next second you just aren't
Another thing that I really like is how realistic it is when it comes to squad sized battles, there are few troops that are the most combat effective while others are less so, taking cover and such.
All of this, and the environment, thousands of gunshots, endless artillery volleys, men screaming. Seeing fellow soldiers turn into fine colored rain the moment an artillery shell hits. This hit me in the gut a little bit, as I am just about done with my OSUT training for the US Army. Never thought I would be able to do it, but I am here and I know what I got myself into. I am a 12b and am well aware if the US were to ever get into war, I'm going to most likely be one of the first to die, whether it's in a combat gunfight or mishap explosives. I have tremendous respect for the soldiers that have fallen for this country and hope to be able to do even perform a fraction of the heroism they showed. Always place the mission first, never accept defeat, never quit, never leave a fallen comrade. Love your family and make it obvious. Have fun and enjoy life, no matter the circumstances you're in. Yes, you are right, it is combat engineer. And yes, we can and will do that, as that is part of our job. But, the thing is, we usually do that in a combat zone, sometimes even while combat might be happening. So by default, we're probably going to be in combat and in danger often. Not only that, but 12b is tasked with the job of "clearing the way". Say there's some c-wire (pretty sharp and just bad if yknow what I mean) and it's blocking a path. We would be tasked with disposing of that c-wire, whether it's stealthily cutting it, or blowing it the hell up with a bangalore. Usually, we're also tasked with clearing minefields so other can pass through. Not everyone does or will do that part, but it is something someone WILL have to do, and that makes it very dangerous. I also do believe my drill sergeants told us that our lifespan in combat (at least as the one who clears everything first) is less than 30 seconds, which is a pretty low. I didn't know a lot of this stuff before I went in. These are all things I learnt with my OSUT training. You are the ideal film maker, rat. This is insane. Your acting and story telling really makes these games enjoyable to watch, and honestly, I've went to try some of them out because of your videos. Your channel deserves so many more subs, its infuriating. Get this man more recognition.
This is the quality I've always known Ratskewer for. I can't believe this man, he manages to make Roblox look interesting as hell, despite most of its quality game's having ''mid'' stories at most, so the way he expands on it is just great. Not to mention the insane production quality.
I should scream because of how well done this is, rat! I love the shell of the role you've made for yourself. You are a man who's never stopped thinking. I expect this to skyrocket because, oh my gosh? Every next word breaks me, and I am all fond of it
You're genuinely so underrated. The cinematography and the storyline of the video is so preplexing and so amazing, im honestly surprised by it. I love it so much, i really hoped other people could find your channel and see its amazing qualities, whether you're just playing with your friends or do some serious stuff like this. Stuff like these deserved 500k views, heck, i wont even be surprised if your channel reached 1 million subscribers!❤
It is not often that I praise a work like this but I have to say that you have done a fantastic job with this video. What I found very touching is how accurate the demise of each member was, the deaths were sudden, no over-dramatization, thus, it was powerful. The effect on me was way more lasting than it would have been otherwise. The poor kid wanting to return home back to his mother only to be shot was VERY profound.
again the rat strikes the world with an amazing and creative new experience to enjoy. the character design fits the setting and time period of the film so well, and dont even get me started on the character development along with the writing. the sfx and special effects truly rival those of any film on planet earth, the 4K quality of the film adds to the experience. this truly captures the essence of what it would be like to be a soldier in a war of this time period, the heartbreak of the families and the work of the soldiers. truly a work of art this new ratskewer film is. keep up the good work rat.
Centaura brought the environment, and Ratskewer used it to make it alive. With energy, tension and grit. And then as quick as it came, it ended. James, Simon, Caleb, Raphael. Their deaths weren’t poetic and drawn-out, they were filled with terror and sudden. Maybe that was the best fate for them, rather than living in eternal suffering from the loss of their fellow soldiers. Requiesce in pace.
I just gotta say I love this so much man, everything went cold. The body temperature, the coffee and just how everything went south in a 20 second span
A cinematic masterpiece as always from ratskewer, never one to disapoint. If you liked this game you should like Shell Shocked, which is a really underrated game compared to other games in roblox.
waiting for ratskewer to get a job as a directer. Also, the final scene with the mother crying with the shot of the coffee still on the table, having "gone cold" now, really hit, amazing stuff
im tearing up. the short form storyline is so well put together that by the end i already knew all the characters, i knew what they were going through, i knew they wanted to go home. keep going man this is great.
Holy moly, this isn’t your regular short film, with the protagonists coming out victorious, this feels so real, and it perfectly shows the horrors of war. Ratskewer is an absolute gem on youtube
this is just amazing. the way rat captured the horror and brutality of war is so good, especially with the ending. it actually broke me, and that soldier wanting to go home and see his mom is just, it sounded so real it sends chills down my spine. fantastic work rat, you've outdone yourself with this one. its one hell of an adventure
Oh my gosh, this is probably one of the best shorts I've seen on roblox! I've been looking for a World War I video in roblox for a long time and I found it! Everything is great here. Well-written dialogues, an understandable plot with a beginning and an end, sound effects, musical accompaniment. All this wonderful conveys all the horror and despair of that time. I was most impressed by the finale itself, namely the death of all the heroes. Each of them is a separate person with their own characters and appearance, united by one thing - the war. Throughout the short film, all the horrors of war and the fact that there is nothing romantic about it are shown. I am very impressed with your work and I give you ratskewer and your whole team a lot of respect for all this work! Hope to see more content like this from you, all the best
The video was a masterclass in melancholy. Ratskewer, you managed to make me, a time-obsessed creature, forget the world around me and feel the weight of everyone's loss, even the seemingly insignificant people having dinner .
After watching, i can definitely say that this is one of the best videos on this channel so far. The sound design and the game itself is amazing, and the voice actors were outstanding. The fact that ratskewer can make such a heartwrenching and real story that makes you feel for the charecters in the span of only 11 minutes, is a skill that not many posses. This channel is definitely one of my new favourites
@@ratskewerhey Mister, i was wondering what games you used other than Centaura. If you see this please do respond. I’m asking for a group! Thanks again, and i enjoy your content!
knowing the lore behind Centaura as well... their sacrifices were all in vain. Corvus allies with Antares to overwhelm Cetus, and Cetus falls within months due to Antares superiority, marking the end of the south Corvus war and the beggining of the Centauran war
One thing I do really love is how Nobody left the south Corvus war in the right Cetus was the reason behind the whole thing, having basically screwed Corvus over in their seizure of south Corvus Corvus, while totally in the right to invade, turned to committing several warcrimes during the war, like gas attacks. And of course there is Antares, who exploited a conflict between its neighbors for its ruler’s own imperialistic goals
Wow I expected like a funny gameplay but this…this was amazing great story, great acting, great telling, it proves how serious war is. I have been amazed by this. And now I shall subscribe for more amazing content like this.

I already thought that you’d make a great writer before watching this but this video truly cements that idea. That ending was just perfect. there was no heroic sacrifice, the deaths were sudden and out of nowhere. It really shows how there is no victor in war. Only chaos. Only the dead see the end of war.
I was expecting you and the boys to be goofing around in a game, not a beautifully created, beautifully acted or perfect short movie. honestly this is just perfect.
Just for this I HAD to subscribe, this was a cinematic master piece rat I'm giving you huge props get into the film making business you have amazing talent dude! Just keep going and you'll reach the stars soon enough.
I just, wow, I am at a loss for words. This short video truly encapsulates war and the cost of it, people with normal lives, soon ending up in a hell on earth scenario just to become a mere number. And damn does the ending hit hard.
This felt like a actual movie, I think I've never felt tears almost come out my eyes ever since All Quiet on the Western Front. The emotion and everything it just felt good. That's another subscriber for you.
Felt really deep bro... you tell great stories, and I will stay tuned for more, The empty feeling of what was once times of comfort, Joy, peace.. turned to.. shallow memories of the past, Once alive now dead, we as a species shall make memories that will one day known or Unknown fade away with no-one to keep that memory alive, look at this world, were all fading as we know it.. the past.. the future.. all we know is the present time, what we call the past is more of a mystery than "history" as there are many thing that was once known to many are now lost to time.. really loved this video though!
Honestly better than anything I'd ever watch with my classroom to learn about the trench wars lol On a serious note, this short film is beautifully made and I think one of the aspects that caught me off guard the most was the audio, for the entire video theres death, chaos, destruction and a constant sound of gunshots meanwhile in the end theres a deafening silence, something thats never really portrayed anywhere else and it manages to feel so unconfortable even with those calm places that where once potrayed full of friends and generally people, really makes you think that after all that everyone, no matter what or how their life was, will die and leave no traces in the end (expecially because of war). Bravo ratskewer !! keep it up :- )
man this was TOO good, you ratskewer, have genuinely become one of the people i look up to now. i wish i could create things as good as you. really, i hope you have an amazing future.
You really need to be a movie director. Like i really thought it would be a kinda happy story we’re the main guy survives but just dahm how all the people just die never expect it also props to the voice actor of Raphael’s mom at the end that shit almost made me cry Like this shows the true horrors of war this short film just makes the game feel 100% better like this gave me chills this could fr be a movie storyline like all the voice acting is so good and it feels so real and like every moment felt real like all the emotions like when James died and Raphael like as I said this shit almost made me cry like the emotion of rookie after the main guy dies seems so real like I felt for him there even though it was just acting like I don’t know how to put into words how good this is (also srry for no punctuation it’s probably hard to read lol)
The desperation in every character is honestly what hit the most, like how Ralph thought about his mother when all hope was lost. You really get to see the pure, raw unfiltered emotion from each of them, and it brings so much meaning to how each counted death is someone's life, someone's aspirations, rather than the mere numbers that statistics make them seem to be. Nicely done!! Can't wait to watch more stuff from you ^ ^
This, this right here i cant even put into words how good it is. I was so on edge and as a czech, hearing my native language suprised me alot. This is better than alot of films i have seen this year. Good job ratskewer.
I got attached to them characters so much that I cried a little at the end. You and your VAs' skills were very impressive. I can see how much effort was put into this.
Man the editing in this video is unbelievable. Really puts you in the perspective of the soldier. I would never expect this level of cinematography and storytelling from a roblox gameplay.
This was extremely well made I can’t believe you only got 68k subscribers, it’s so unreal. I’m definitely subscribing. Keep up the good work and I hope you get the attention you deserve.
Illutrates the horrors of war as I imagine it would be, sends a message past goofy roblox graphics, and obviously has effort put into it, I hope this becomes a classic of the roblox community.

Don't know what else to say, but that your are underrated, but at the same time doing so greatful videos every single time. You deserve so much in the page. And I know you know it too.

You are the ideal film maker, rat. This is insane. Your acting and story telling really makes these games enjoyable to watch, and honestly, I've went to try some of them out because of your videos. Your channel deserves so many more subs, its infuriating. Get this man more recognition.
Appreciate you dingo, stay tuned.
This is the quality I've always known Ratskewer for. I can't believe this man, he manages to make Roblox look interesting as hell, despite most of its quality game's having ''mid'' stories at most, so the way he expands on it is just great. Not to mention the insane production quality.
I did not expect a cinematic masterpiece. Incredible work, ratskewer.
The ending was heartbreaking and realistic at the same time, it teaches us the futility of war and how many lives are lost for no reason
Thank you, Phillip.
AND THEN THE MOM PART MADE ME CRY
A cinematic masterpiece as always from ratskewer, never one to disapoint. If you liked this game you should like Shell Shocked, which is a really underrated game compared to other games in roblox.
These cinematic masterpieces are just so well done. 1:1 my friend.
waiting for ratskewer to get a job as a directer. Also, the final scene with the mother crying with the shot of the coffee still on the table, having "gone cold" now, really hit, amazing stuff
Glad you noticed the callback
im tearing up. the short form storyline is so well put together that by the end i already knew all the characters, i knew what they were going through, i knew they wanted to go home. keep going man this is great.
it was genuinely beautiful
Thank you for taking the time to write this Taymur, I really appreciate you!
@ratskewer you're welcome
The video was a masterclass in melancholy. Ratskewer, you managed to make me, a time-obsessed creature, forget the world around me and feel the weight of everyone's loss, even the seemingly insignificant people having dinner .
it's crazy to see him grow so much, he was only at 4k subs not a while ago. i hope more people see your content, keep up the good work man! :D
This 11 minute video honestly felt like a movie describing the horrors of war in a roblox game. I am definitely subscribing for more shit like this.
I did not expect this at all, this was a whole emotional roller-coaster, absolutely magnificent
Appreciate you dude, stick around.
One thing I do really love is how
Nobody left the south Corvus war in the right
Cetus was the reason behind the whole thing, having basically screwed Corvus over in their seizure of south Corvus
Corvus, while totally in the right to invade, turned to committing several warcrimes during the war, like gas attacks.
And of course there is Antares, who exploited a conflict between its neighbors for its ruler’s own imperialistic goals
This is amazing, I honestly felt so engaged into it, thanks so much for sharing this cinematic experience.
Wow I expected like a funny gameplay but this…this was amazing great story, great acting, great telling, it proves how serious war is.
I have been amazed by this. And now I shall subscribe for more amazing content like this.
i honestly thought this would be like a commentary video or something, didnt expect the most beautiful youtube video lmfaoo (also the vy hajzlové was a fine addition)
Holy shit. This was amazing. Ever since I first subscribed, I’ve been getting nothing but videos that could rival those made in Hollywood. This has single-handedly made the internet feel entertaining again. Thank you once again ratskewer.
You story writing goober.
Each Ratskewer video tells a story of a man, a narrative that we all can enjoy.
The content this guy puts out is just fucking amazing. My attention span isn't the best, so I usually find myself skipping through most videos I watch. But whenever Ratskewer posts a video, I sit through the entirety of them. This guy deserves way more subscribers and it won't be long before more people find this gem of a channel. Keep up the good work man!
Unironically, beautiful, some of the scenes gave me actual anti-war film vibes, and the ending made me genuinely sad and a little teary. This is something I’ve never seen done in Roblox, and especially not this well constructed. I want to write more but am at a loss for words. Thank you for bestowing this upon us.
Rat really wakes up every day and says: "How about I make an absolute FUCKING MASTERPIECE without fail, or change in quality, and with top notch editing."
that subtle operation market garden part sold it for me. super good use of different games to sell the setting is genuinely impressive
dude this is amazing its like ive just watch an episode of a full blown show!! Its like i could feel the emotions of the soliders, and how they tried to pull through even when it was tough. the ending was pretty sad aswell. Like always awesome video hope u get to 100k soon, and even more! You deserve 10x more subscribers then you have. 😅
I really didn’t expect for them all to die. I guess this just shows the horrors of war, I at least hoped for Raphael to live, damn. Amazing work, though.
Damn the outro all hands down to you man you really out did yourself in this one props to the VA with such talented cry of grief and dispare
Found this through the CENTAURA devs discord. Fucking hell man you are good at this.
"Only the dead have seen the end of war."
~Plato
Ratskewer has a lot of potential to be one of the most popular Roblox content creators. And his incredible videos will eventually get him that title. Been here since 20k, don’t give up.
Every time he makes a video i feel as if i was watching a movie
i.. dont have the words to tell you how I feel.
there is nothing like this in the roblox community and you inspire with a simple video about a recreation.
thank you for the laughs and for the genuine passion that you have for this
Stick around.
This was actually phenomenal. I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of weeks now and it just so happened that this ended up playing by accident. I already thought that you’d make a great writer before watching this but this video truly cements that idea. Everyone, EVERYONE made this narrative absolutely beautiful and gut-wrenching and I found myself intrigued from the very start. I’m glad to say I subscribed and I truly cannot wait to watch more content like this from you. Absolutely amazing.
Just keep going and you'll reach the stars soon enough.
this was really well made, you keep improving and improving. Genuinely got immersed in this, keep it up Rat!
There is something soothing and reasuring with rat's voice, This is also better than any other Triple A movie
that end was so raw holy, good work to you and SMCP
you're videos just keep getting better and better man this is amazing
I just, wow, I am at a loss for words.
This short video truly encapsulates war and the cost of it, people with normal lives, soon ending up in a hell on earth scenario just to become a mere number.
And damn does the ending hit hard.
This felt like a actual movie, I think I've never felt tears almost come out my eyes ever since All Quiet on the Western Front. The emotion and everything it just felt good. That's another subscriber for you.
Holy moly, ratskewer can turn anything to a high quality film. It felt like I was watching an actual movie
Honestly better than anything I'd ever watch with my classroom to learn about the trench wars lol
On a serious note, this short film is beautifully made and I think one of the aspects that caught me off guard the most was the audio, for the entire video theres death, chaos, destruction and a constant sound of gunshots meanwhile in the end theres a deafening silence, something thats never really portrayed anywhere else and it manages to feel so unconfortable even with those calm places that where once potrayed full of friends and generally people, really makes you think that after all that everyone, no matter what or how their life was, will die and leave no traces in the end (expecially because of war).
Can't wait to watch more stuff from you ^ ^
i love it man and the whole thing fit perfectly together this felt like a move
This, this right here i cant even put into words how good it is. I was so on edge and as a czech, hearing my native language suprised me alot. This is better than alot of films i have seen this year. Good job ratskewer.
I am amazed at how rat can make stories better then most 1h-2h short films in only 10 minutes
I got attached to them characters so much that I cried a little at the end. You and your VAs' skills were very impressive. I can see how much effort was put into this.
the editing is pure fire man keep up the good work! :D
Man the editing in this video is unbelievable. Really puts you in the perspective of the soldier. I would never expect this level of cinematography and storytelling from a roblox gameplay.
No doubt that this creator will gain a million subs in a few months. It is already an honor to witness these early videos.
this is the best film i've seen yet, and your a newer youtuber so it's honestly super cool to see you improve over time.
This was extremely well made I can’t believe you only got 68k subscribers, it’s so unreal. I’m definitely subscribing. Keep up the good work and I hope you get the attention you deserve.
hey man i really like your content so please dont turn out to be a groomer
Well that was unprecedented
What’s wrong with grooming dogs?
@@ColonelOsonz no, the “other” kind of grooming
Illutrates the horrors of war as I imagine it would be, sends a message past goofy roblox graphics, and obviously has effort put into it, I hope this becomes a classic of the roblox community.
Everything about this video is genuinely beautiful. I’m not going to write a full page essay because people will and have said it better than I could but this is beautiful and I can’t wait to see what else you make.
This is honestly amazing for a youtuber with a low budget, Imagine if he had a budget like some big movies
the crying, fuck dude. this is genuinely so amazing. raphael will never get to see his mom again holy shit this hurts
Truly incredible voice acting here, you got some really nice people working on this. I would love an opportunity to voice act like this honestly, it seems like so much fun.
Jesus. Most of these videos could be short films, your filmmaking skills are insane. Good job rat, this is why I subscribed
This is such a well produced video. Brought me to tears. Well done as always, Ratskewer.
Rats this is a really question now, what's up with all this cinematic expertises? You are doing it so god damn well, it's overwhelming the ambient that you make in every video, giving it a deserve seriousness when it's need it.
Don't know what else to say, but that your are underrated, but at the same time doing so greatful videos every single time. You deserve so much in the page. And I know you know it too.
"War isn't hell. War is war, and Hell is hell. And of the two, war is a lot worse." - Captain B.F. Peirce
Absolutely beautiful acting, writing, and cinematography from everyone involved. Great job on this, man.
wow, been binging rat videos and this one is by far one of the best, absolutely insane work rat
The entire thing feels like real unscripted gameplay and conversations, very well done with the settings!
I honestly expected something funny but came back with goosebumps.
This man content is so underrated his edits are perfect ❤
i couldn’t even jingle to this ‼ i caroled immediately 😂😂 gift wrap isle my pants 😂😂
This is so well made i love rats editing and story making skills

"Soldiers aren't numbers they're fathers, husbands, sons and brothers".
