I got a question sir, how would you qualify the quality, materials, joints, sculpt and accesories for this figure?
0:38 I love how the lighting here gives the figure a better hue of colours.
Many may hate this Optimus Prime look but I liked it a lot because with this look he was more badass and actually i don't hate bayverse designs i like it because it's full of amazing metallic details and also the skeletal form of some.
It's too bad so many people don't understand the aesthetics of Bayverse designs.
Knight Optimus is awfully underestimated and deserves more credits.

It's quite sad that the arms didn't transform yet they didn't gave it more articulation and longer forearms, it could've been retractable so it could fit in the transformation

The BEST knight Optimus prime toy I have EVER seen!
A fantastic-looking figure for sure, very screen-accurate~ It's a shame a piece of the rear skirt just seemed to.. snap off like that, though. If I ever got my hands on this figure, I'm not sure I'd ever transform it more than once lol.
Dont let a small missing piece on the back of the figure ruin it for you

That’s an accurate response loL because I got mine and you realize how fragile most of the parts are on top of the already frustrating transformation. I transformed it once and managed to crack something. Once I transform it back to alt mode I’m confident he’s going to stay that way for a long time 😭
@@sora.osarU03 Yeah, no kidding lol. I own Studio Cell, and even though he’s solid, parts of his transformation still scare the crap out of me… So I just keep him in planet mode and call it a day XD
This is without a doubt THE best version of Knight Optimus. I love that he compared it to UT (the OG) and BS 03 (and also Knight Orion)
The vehicle mode is the MOST accurate (UT and BS03 had that blocky look)
And the robot mode is just amazing. I wanted BS03 bc it was brighter colored than UT (like the movie) but the chest always bothered me.
He looked like a body builder with bubble gut
This one however is like a proper superhero physique with a six pack.
I love that they had the phrase "just like the movie"
That's how all these toys should do it.

1.) I love the details of his arms, that stylistic hand with gauntlet outline along with the bicep mobility but they look too short and stumpy. The other knights fold the hands by the wrist when inside the truck's hood, so they ultimately have longer and more proportional arm lengths.
2.) Those shoulder and knee joints look too thin and bending in some awkward angles that I don't know how to describe. Some poses can look awkward with the engineering choices of the major joints.
3.) the main weakness that UT and BS share is that the ankles have limited mobility. It's kinda sad this has the same problems as those two.
4.) If the broken back skirt is any indication, the plastic-only joints are very risky, especially with such a heavy boy. Even a low fall or knockdown is just too scary.
Design wise, it really is the best knight optimus truck mode. The bot mode's very detailed as well, the only weakness is the short arms. It seems the articulation is better in many cases compared the other 2 without backpack kibble.
I have BS-03 Cybertron Cavaliers, so I won't be picking this one up. I am surprised to see AAT still found some niches to occupy after ToyWorld's beautifully painted Knight Orion, Unique Toys' surprisingly minimalistic transformation, and BS-03's paint job and waist shape improvement to UT's mold. They gave him a screen-accurate arm transformation, a dashboard, a more accurate truck mode, and more slender robot mode. If Super Transformers Studio STS-01 is still in works, there's not much left for them to do that hasn't been done already regarding this knight version of Prime. Wonderful stop-motion work as always Mangmotion, the opening transformation took me straight back to the scene in the movie.
I find that this Optimus Prime masterpiece is better made than the others😎👌👍
Yes it looks better than all the others, but the quality of the plastic doesn’t look very good and the coloring in some places is not very good.

Very screen accurate in both modes i think is more stetic in almost every angle and better proportions than Ut and knight orion easily! Also great engeneering… im just waiting for the Tmt cuz looks really awesome too… im glad they really improved a lot and redeemed themselves from the first version

I really find it interesting how much love the 3rd parties give this design given how universally disliked the last two Bay films are. Personally I'm fine with the movies, and this is an almost perfect representation in both modes with fantastic detail, articulation, paint, and accessories. Transformation though looks intimidating as that is a lot of moving parts/hinges/tabs to wrestle in place. Would love to SS do a proper leader scale of this design with a simpler more down to earth transformation.
For sure, it's bizarre that this version of prime gets so much attention from third party companies. If they put in half of that effort into doing a movie 1 optimus, they would have perfected him ages ago. The black apple one is perfect in a lot of areas, but some of the proportions are still off, and the chest is weird as hell. I really hope these companies do him justice one day

I quite like this figure, though the plastic quality such as that broken buttflap leaves me feeling a bit skeptical. I see a lot of elements coming from both unique toys figure and toyworld, most notably the calf transformation. An element I can clearly see that is an original design is the engine hood, and the overall chest transformation. All in all, good on AA for giving us what seems to be the work of a very good figure, given some fine-tuning and proportion adjustment.

looks good, and not as complicated as i thought it would be. but the plastic looks really cheap. overall i still prefer unique toys, which still looks fantastic and is really fun to transform.

now this should beat the hell out of unique toys challenger due to a less noticeable truck/robot kibble. in exchange to a little more harder transformation compared to challenger. but still it's person preference, i still like unique toys challenger more since its not that hard to transform.

The transformation looks like UT but more complex
It's surprising, but the meticulous details are like in the movie, the knuckles are very good. But I wonder why the fixed key is not made of metal so that when morphing it is safe for the player to own.
I was thinking of getting this, but all those thin panels got me rethinking.

It could really use some diecast in the joints. Using plastic on the waist joint make me worry this figure will snap in half if you mishandle it a few times, which is not uncommon to a figure with this level of complexity.
hopefully an upgrade kit or KO comes out because his arms are so stubby

Did you forget to put the figure in the last shot of the video, with the alt modes? The figure has one silver headlight and one blue, plus side mirrors on the doors. None of the 4 trucks lined up in that last shot is the AAT figure

good model, but personally I find it hard to play with. Still loving my BS-03
Personally my favorite version is BS-03. On this Alien Attack version, I don't like that the antenna at the top are transparent. They should have painted them silver. It seems that the Driver's side headlight isn't painted, but that could just be your copy. I don't like how some parts aren't chromed and just painted silver. I like everything to be cohesive, so either make them all silver, or all chrome. I don't like the parts forming by having to remove the wires on the side of his legs. It has a very complex, fiddly, transformation and it doesn't make it look any better than the other versions. There's a few other things I don't like about it, but you get the idea of my opinion. Good video though. You did a really good job!
The paint application Isn’t finished, they said they will change it. And as far as it goes this version is the mos screen accurate and also has an accurate transformation.
This was a pre-release, my ones antennas are silver, and taking the leg things off is optional, you can still transform it with them on, no parts forming necessary.

Since they did such a good job with this figure they should make the 12 knights of cybertron and have them combine into the 3 headed dragon and they should make tf5 megatron and tf3 sentinal prime then we could have this prime ride the dragon like in the movie and just have a display of knights in an epic battle.

I saw there is the aluminum wheel of the Gavril T-Series semi-truck.
I hope they make him a regular head in the color we are used to and finalize the figure to the ideal, there are still flaws in it.
I wish someone would make a more accurate 2007-2011 Prime, that AOE design is done to death at this point.

I can't stop playing with it, i actually got my dream figure (black apple weijiang optimus) yet.. i find myself grabbing this one more.
I think its due to the superior sculpting and more diecast.
BUT here are my criticisms.
It feels a little fragile, im scared that certain tabs will break off soon due to bad clearance issues/choices.
My second complaint would be the paint. I thought I would be okay, this video does it justice.
In person though, the lack of paint sticks out like a sore thumb
Which is a shame because this figure is genuinely stunning. Probably my favorite ever.
But the lack of paint is just crazy. Its like making a ferarri but its just plain sheet metal instead of that shiny red they use.

Best sculpting ever, most accurate alt mode, transformation makes use of almost every part (no fake pieces), hefty die cast, good accessories (wish they added an energon blade and also wish they had a prime head with plain blue eyes instead of purple)

According to the Teibo site, this is a late stage prototype meant to show the mechanisms. Alien Attack Toys said there will be structural and sculpt differences with this and the final version, as well as using better plastic and paint
Aver está bien , se nota que es un prototipo por la pintura que le falta, la articulación bueno hay te lo compro la parte de trasero que se a roto hay lo deben mejorar como un baljoink (perdón si no se si se escribe así ) las armas están bien solo le faltan luces led y de lujo, la transformación está bien te vas a llevar un buen rato pero es que da miedo por qué en los enganches se puede romper por el esfuerzo y por último el modo vehículo ni tan mal solo que en las partes de las chimeneas lo deben hacer mejor en que se conecten bien
people have been so used to seeing overly long arms in transformers toys (almost all larger ones have arms that can almost reach the knees) that when they see one with anatomically accurate (human arm length should just go past the pelvis) length, they're weirded out... well granted the calves are way too long on this one but its length is still movie accurate.
Saw three different reviews with three different broken parts. I'm really tempting to buy this, but it seems really fragile. Especially the foot part.
