How to make a DOORMAT using your CRICUT

- I have seen so many tips and tricks for the Cricut machine on Tik Tok. When I saw this one I had to give it a try. I thought there was no way freezer paper would work as a stencil to make my own DIY door mat for my front door. I took out my Cricut Explore Air 2 and my Easy Press to give it a try! I also needed some freezer paper and flexseal.

I think this is beautiful and I so admire your perseverance and all your hard work paid off. I lost my husband 10 days before Christmas 2021, he had fought cancer and was in remission but sadly he caught Covid , we had been together almost 40 years and I was totally lost and heartbroken and could not find anything in life to help me face each day. However my Sister who is 12 years older than me and she had lived in Texas for 48 years, came back to live in the uk with me , she had planned to do this for 7 years, she kindly brought me a Cricut explore 3 for Christmas this year and a friend brought me a mug press etc, I am totally new to all of this as never used anything like this before, I have had a couple of workshop lessons to learn to use the design space , but I think I really have to just have a play with the machine myself and not be scared of using it , I love your videos and think they will help and inspire me
I don't have a Cricket but I have to say this is the most adorable project I've seen in a long time!

Thank you! The size of the font is different for each mat. It depends on the size of your mat.
I always spray paint in my living room... still alive after 50 years... love the fumes of paint and thinner etc...

Why flex seal and not just use exterior spray paint?
Not sure....... I looked it up and it is what many people use. It is very worn now though. I live in Nevada and summers are brutal. I think the heat is not good lol.
