      It was an age , when they have custom to pour melted lead into mouth of captives. Also boil people alive. Or fly them. Elegant killing is in your modern silly mind , used to romanticizing and talking nonsens. The power had to be kept with fear , and fear they created very skillfully.

    • @andrewwazagow9120
      @andrewwazagow9120 Před 2 lety

      No , it is in historical facts - are you blind to the truth ? The riches , splendor , lavish style of life was coming for few by the absolute power following the ruthlessness and cruelty. To avoid any danger for their social positions their was the tool of implemented fear. And what you admire , are in fact cutting and stabbing tools. Developed to cut human bodies. Their beauty was not to be admired by victims , but for the owners to evoke a desire to try it , to use it. And to see their effect from an immediate distance. It is well known that the guns were invented for the reason of taking the burden of seeing the butchery up close , from soldiers.
      Killing from afar was much more psychologically easier.
      And strictly for that same psychological reasons the executions were force on people fo watch. People impaled , burned alive , masacred in many a way and method , were for the rich to keep their power over the multitudes. Kiling is NOT elegant , especially when it is done by somebody loving his saber , or sword and taking an enjoyment from using it to cut your flesh , child.
      The most common result of dying is the body's evacuation of intestines' contents. The stench follows. Body fluids pour out. Simple cutting the neck causes the fountain of blood shutting sometimes up to three feet. The body moves in death throws , convulsions , there are groans and screams. Elegance ? More like hideous , stinking , bloody horror.
      And religion like Christianity , Islam , Judaism , any Indian cult of Kali or actually almost any one of them is entirely based on cruelty , fear and injustice. All of them.
      But the most common religion is ignorance and closing the eyes on consequences.

      I am from Bangladesh myself and have done some research on this topic. The dawah actually started during the time of the sahabah by people who were Athari in aqeedah and not Ash'ari or Maturidi like the Ottomans were. It is said that Muslim traders and Da'ees landed in Chittagong. There was dawah happening in Bengal even before the Ottoman empire existed. The invasion of the Mongols and conversion of the Golden Horde also happened before the Ottomans came about. There were already Muslims in Bengal before even the Mamelukes invaded India.

      @Hüseyin Uçar you sound like one of those weird Turkish atheist/secular types. Your empire was only great at one point because of Islam. Never forget that. Without it you're just a third grade nation that Europe spits on and has never accepted as its own.

    In case anybody doesn't know all Turkish swords are pattern-welded so they are ''damascus steel''. But ofc museums aren't etching hundreds of years old swords to show their patterns lol. It was increasing durability but in medieval conditions it was really hard to mass produce. Even non-decorated ones were taking hundreds of hours to produce. So Ottoman ditched pattern-welding technique in last centuries to produce more swords.
