I get to work to with Carlos ( wheel of death) on a daily basis all i can say is that he truly is crazy and loves what he does and extremely good at it. Even though he scares us every day

Having seen over 12 different Cirque shows, Kooza still remains the favourite of my Wife and I. Absolutely brilliant how this show comes together. You will not see better Circus skill anywhere!

Love Kooza, one of the shows where there is no "let me go to the bathroom for a minute", it's a no stop performance show. Fantastic music, costumes, makeup and artists.

One of my favorite shows from Cirque du Soleil. I got a chance to see it in Santa Monica.
Funny thing is that today I found a Kooza DVD in good condition for a couple of bucks with also a 2nd DVD with exactly this behind the scenes program. :-D

I love cirque I’ve only seen two shows quidam in 2011 and Kurios in 2016 being in the front row of kurios was amazing you don’t want it to end such a great show they’re all good

I was teaching a “literacy” unit in my elementary lesson her in Japan tonight called “Circus School” and I realized the image included was of the tightrope performers from this show! It was so interesting to teach that unit after watching the performance.

PERFECT
Wheel of Death is my favorite. Like the way the artist messes up when he firsts tries to jump rope, that draws the audience in thinking wow this is going to get him hurt, but he was acting making it more dangerous looking for viewers, make no mistake , it is very dangerous, but it draws the crowd...I can not jump rope on flat still ground, do not even think about in the air going up and around...

You know, one time before, I heard her voice (min. 18:10). and She made me go into the story developing before my eyes, bringing back the romance in to my fantasy! always once more! so profound my heart wants to explode! I knew then an angel"s voice was tinkering with my soul. There is a way now...knowing her name, would make me so hapy. I saw her only once, in a previous Cirque Du Soleil show. My life since then has been empty, untill today that I can hear Her again. Can some one please, tell me her name? I would like to purchase Her albums! that is all I can hope for.

interesting to see what acts got cut over the years. I watched it today and there was no trapeeze, no chairs, a different juggling act, no huge balls, etc. id love to know the reasoning behind cutting them honestly, especially the trapeeze.
Watch the aerial hoop, aerial straps, or aerial silks for the Kashmir act(red costume on trapeze). The original trapeze woman left Kooza, still with cirque in another show(i think its joya). The juggler Anthony Gatto quit the circus in general.
A lot of the people who were from the original from 2007 moved on to other things, so acts must be replaced or changed.
Also if youre unlucky, some performances are still around but the show you went to, injured artist or technical problems. The ones like rope, wheel of death, and chair balance often they have to cut it in some shows. Or even 2 contortionists instead of 3. It sucks but it happens.

it is impossible for cirque du soleil to want to create a remake of Alegria, because the magic of joy of 2001 is unique, it is the same as you want to create a remake of saltimbancos, or retakai, quidam, dralion, it is impossible because it is a unique show and that if you were to redo it it would have to be the same as the original, you know, saltimbancos is an incredibly unique show, Alegria 2001 is a creation that everything was made to cause fear with the old nostalgic birds, joy with the clowns, sadness and varied feelings, this show now is totally different from what the 2001 show wanted to bring, the costumes, the music, the dances, the energy is totally different, it was a good idea but it didn't keep the principles of history, the struggle for power, and other things but you know, I’m sorry it’s the truth, it made a big mistake, this time, ok, I don’t think you’re going to make a classic again if you haven’t kept it until now, you know ..... it’s irrational, you should think about it next time turn . kisses

Miguel, The new Alegria's Show is not intended to be a memorial of the original one. Is just a "remake" with new sounds, new costumes, new stages and new everything. I appreciate the modern touch of Alegria, because it remains with same essence but nowadays. All shows are intended to be uniques, also the new ones like Alegria.
