  • In this tutorial, we'll show you how to give your car a fresh and stylish look by plasti-dipping its emblems or badges. Plasti dip is a rubberized coating that can be easily sprayed onto your car's emblems, giving them a new color and a durable, long-lasting finish.
To get started, you'll need some basic supplies, including plasti dip spray, masking tape, cleaner/rubbing alcohol, and a clean cloth. We'll walk you through each step of the process, starting with how to prep your car's emblems for plasti dip.
Next, we'll show you how to mask off the surrounding area to avoid overspray and ensure a clean finish. We'll also give you tips on how to get the best coverage and finish with your plasti dip spray.
Once you've applied the plasti dip, we'll show you how to properly remove the masking tape and any excess plasti dip for a professional-looking result.
Whether you're looking to give your car a new look or simply cover up some faded or scratched emblems, plasti dipping is an easy and affordable solution. So grab your supplies and follow along with us as we show you how to plasti dip your car emblems like a pro!

Damn thanks for this comment. Haven't used plastidip in a long time. First time hearing of a glossifier..is it a last couple coats or..? I remember trying to paint these black vents In a 94 Honda del sol in the lime green plastidip. It always looked like a green goo on the inside...id be rolling around delivering pizzas then going home and spraying my vents in plastidip..man..😂. That shit was wild though. It was red with lime green running lights. Was like a cherry limeade at midnight..lol..now that I know I should have painted them white or something first..Great video again man..

@@dasher-yk7br Yeah you just do it last after the plastidip color has dried. You can do as many coats as you want but I usually do 2 or 3.
Honestly after doing my emblems I wish I had just ordered the covers off aliexpress. It looks ok with the plastidip but you will have to respray it probably a couple of times a year to keep it looking decent.

How does it hold up to car washes? If it's so easy to peel off with your fingers does it come off when going through a car wash?
