because a half year is from january to june and 1st month have 31 days and 2nd month have 29 days (if the year is not integer multiplier of 4), and 3rd month have 31 days, and 4th month have 30 days, and 5th month have 31 days and 6th month have 30 days, 31*3 + 30*2 + 29*1 = 182
