Big Business Season 1 Marathon
The cruise ship logistics are insane.
These guys should be running the US Postal Service 😉
ships with nö öwn kitchen corner planes cheap stuff like iphöne nönsensickal stüff gee äll träsh v v
maybe the public suxx -gc v v
göt banned fast on a cruise vid. better rent a boat or something. or billed your own. jäjä jacöb anöther ^ ^
And even worse for nature..
I've never been on one, but it's sooo fascinating! I've seen videos about Arctic cruises, they have to look out for icebergs, it's wild
I am shocked from seeing the first 5 minutes ...... IS THIS A MOVING CITY ?!?!?!
This amount of logistics all done by hand instead of "Pre-Fabrication", These men and women have a job that deserves full respect.
If that ship had a farm and water you could make it the most plaussible self mantaining floating city.
❤qqQq❤❤qqq❤
I remember going on a Carnival cruise…Most the restaurants were never open and you could only get like gas station quality food certain times of the day. Never go on a Carnival cruise.
the food was SO bad
and their workers are paid crap. like, what's the point of putting all that pollution into the atmosphere if you aren't even gonna use it to deliver a nice experience
I'll never look at any of these products the same way. This was so informative and eye-opening 👀
I like the NBA story the best. Chef Lex Grant & Co. know their stuff and charge for it too. Once you get good at food prep you can deliver 200, 300, 500 meals a day. Leadership, organization, team members and suppliers get the job done. In the end, like the saying goes, you're only as good as your last job.
I really admire her drive and focus. She and her assistant are worth every penny they charge. The fact that she is creating flavorful, healthy and beautiful food is a bonus. The crazy restrictions she worked under was also impressive. It’s hard enough to be away from your family, but to then be isolated too must have been so awful.
Chef working for the nba is a queen 👑
Wait this video is an hour long, and it’s all videos I’ve already seen, am I going to watch this.... definitely.

I love an informative CZcams video!
14:13 when that popsickle flew off bahahahaha
Thank you for these information
AMAZING !!
14:14 That One Popsicle That Flew 😂
They should include how much money each person earns.
29:23 That's what someone not getting paid well and on time would say.
Yeah it sounded like there was someone holding a gun to his head as he said it
Yep, the fact that he mentioned "and on time" makes me suspicious.
I am suspicious of all the ones from india etc that have wealthy-looking owners who clearly don't know how to do the job and are just bosses pointing out how good their workers and crops are, treating both like commodities. Yikes.
Great job ladies.
Thanks for the video!
I had the pleasure of sailing on symphony of the seas last year! The food was great and our time was incredible
Love this.
That's incredible!! Thanks for showing it!
Honestly looking forward to having crickets becoming more popular as a food source
There is a finnish company, who has made bread from cricket flour..
Collection of all ❤️❤️....
I love your drive Chef Lex!! 🤓
The truck that washes the berries is called the berry washer.🍒😁

i wish ben & jerrys would bring back their plain chocolate again. i loved their regular chocolate, but it musnt have been very popular, since i havent seen it in stores for many years
Ben & Jerry Garcia cherry, my fav fav fav Ice cream! OMG. It has big squares of chocolate.
I'm only 4 minutes on the video and the numbers are surprising me so much!
280 chef! 6600 souls.11 restaurants. 20 storage rooms. and they work 24/7. W O W 36 kitchens!
I want to go there to work like a S
I know how to cook just contact me if you need another guy! I can prepare some delicious things but the menu is not my choice.
Oh and I speak 3 languages.
crickets blew my mind
8:24 - 15:00 - 15:19 OMG I love CHEF D👩🏼🍳 she was so nice an emotionally supportive to her workers 🥲. I would love to work with her ❤️, they are lucky to have that kind of boss tbh she actually likes her job it seems 🤷♂️
I was watching something els and suddenly this played and im intrested
wow ❤️
Factories always inspire me to do more for some reason 😂
Wow yammey like
Chef Dayang for the super bowl is from Brunei. And the cake at the beginning is an asian pastry.
The tuna that go for millions is the first tuna of the year to be sold because japanese believe that the first time you do something during a year sets a precedent for the remainder of the year. The year before the $1.8 million dollar tuna the first fish sold for like $400k
These events are marvels of logistics!
Seaspi,racy
Yeah. Imagine working people like slaves. I had a coworker who worked in a cruise and he got knee problem.because there were months that they had to work 16 hrs a day everyday, no day offs.
“Everyone eats only chicken nuggets” - some food report
Jarrett: I guess only chicken nuggets
"They don't want a gallon going bad in the back of your fridge!" Mmmmmmno it's because they want it to be a small premium product that can't be purchased in bulk for any kind of discount.
This.
Interesting
Wonder if the ever found any cool fossils or bones in those salt mines.
Big business is busy busy..
27:43 i thought the words said" we dont have the technology in our mine to efficiently extract that sh*t"😭😭
this is so cool!
Loved this season, Hope it continues further
14:14 you dropped a popsicle smh
14:14 Poor guy didn’t make the cut.
Lmaoo yess I saw that
I feel bad for those hard working salt miners :(
I felt bad of those Hard working Gabage manager and Toilet waste managers of the ship cruise!! They did not show their plight of managing waste coming out of this operation!!! Do they dump it in the sea?
same that was so awful!
Did you notice how after Pakistan cut India out of the deal bc India was getting an unfair share of the profits, the workers salary never went up? Nothing will ever be free. Whenever someone rises to the top, they always keep as much of the profit as they can.
It's popcorn time🍿😀
For chef Lex each day starts at 430 am!
Based on the shot they thru up in that moment, Insider's day starts around 8 am lol.
Dauphin River First Nation Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦
Now I want some cranberry juice and cricket cake
There's so much food falling on the floor at the Hard Rock
That inventory manager job in cruise ship must be really hard job.
I'd imagine someone who has experience, like inventory manager for a casino could do it. But its smart how he makes changes based on how many children.
21:49 it's a cap, i know it is made in heaven
Ben and Jerry be lacking on the chocolate brownies only had two pieces of brownie in a tub
I felt bad of those Hard working Gabage manager and Toilet waste managers of the ship cruise!! They did not show their plight of managing waste coming out of this operation!!! Do they dump it in the sea?
This was filmed 6 years ago and posted 2 weeks ago. I was there lol
Covid19 only came in 2019
Rijo has the best job ever that's the job I would like
The sushi stock market!
Chef Lex should also thank her runner for getting her food to her customers - they too are part of her team.
I wasn't sure hell is real, but now I know what ship cook life is like, and I know it's real.
There are no more cruise ships 🤣🤣🤣🌏
R E P O N S A B I L I T Y
I wasn’t paying attention and at the beginning I thought she said “cricket condoms” 😂

With all that volume of food, the true heros are the toilets
Very enjoyable doco. How do they kill the crickets, do they use chemicals, gas, is there a risk from the method?
Ideally: "Freeze them for a few hours to knock them out." Once frozen, boil the crickets to quickly (and most ethically) kill the crickets, then toast them in the oven or a pan."
I want to work on a cruiseship someday but it is so hard to board the ship.
Easy to board. You just step right on.
They pay shit
@@williamweisenburg5919 wdym
@@Jess-ho1de they don't pay well on cruise ships
@@williamweisenburg5919 okay,not all tho,and maybe it depends
So that where all the cranberry juice went
Why does OceanSpray canned cranberries always come with the label upsidedown? This has always bothered me! LOL
Nice

If the food storage is on floor 1 and 2 on what floor do you store the waste?
Ocean lol
@@junebollington6872 bruh no
@@Cutecraftable dude I know I’m saying that’s what the big corporations already do though not that I approve of it bc ofc that’s so bad for the environment
Below I-95 is a deck -1 where the crew is sleeping, under that is deck -2 where is the laundry, engine rooms, water tide doors and so on. Just below that are the tanks for fuel and waste or water treatment tanks. They’re containing grey and black water and it’s stored in different tanks. I think only the grey water (water from the taps, sinks and showers) is released in the ocean in international waters and far away from the shore where the black water (which contains human waste) i think it’s treated further with incinerators and dumped outside on the ports where special truck are coming to collect the waste.
Would love to work in that kitchen
27:40 what does Joe Bloggs have to do with salt?! 😂
First time to come across crickets as food..
Also amazed by the delicacies management by the chefs.
Amazing video with to notch skills.
❤️👌🏽
waiting for someone to add the timestamps in the comments!
NBA Bubble menu 20 Bux for Mac n Cheeze dang
Ben & Jerry will always be my go to❤️🙏🏽💐

Holy mother of number of ads...
26:55 - who puts ice cream in a fridge? It would become a milk shake.
I'm gonna go work for a yacht like Below deck.
Overfishing is ruining ocean life. If we stopped eating fish from a year the oceans would be saved. *watchSEASPIRACY*
They must be rich. Worth
Think about how big their septic tank is with all that food
They just dump it straight into the ocean
4:03 - These people work 12-hour shifts with no time off all for minimum wage or less. All the while, the management team is making bank from their salary and bonuses. And they can get away with it because, in the water, there is no jurisdiction or labour laws.
Work spots are limited because every employee you have to feed and house is a paying customer you can't feed or house. Furthermore, you are there to WORK - 12 hour shifts make perfect sense... You're not there on holiday.
@PUSSYPATROL - I'm sorry economic reality is so triggering to you. Here's the deal, these people WANT these jobs. If they realize it's not for them, they can LEAVE the job. It's called CHOICE. It's sad that you think choice is evil capitalism.
Furthermore, there are a LOT of places in the world where guaranteed room & board, AND a paycheque, in exchange for a 12 hour work day, would be an absolute utopia. Again, that's not evil capitalism, that's reality.
COOL ++++++++++++++++++++++++
FUN FACT: At 18:10, Lex says, "Washing my hands 30,000 times today." Not what the subtitles claimed she said.
56:00 "A team of four farm all of these crickets." -> "The crickets eat about 1,000 pounds of food a day."
Yikes. That entire farm of crickets could devour an entire team (4 x 250lbs) of humans per day if they put their collective minds to it.
i dont think acually realise how big that tuna really is, its huge, lol
No crickets for me, thanks.
