I have tried the mod. Thought that he's a bit harder than vanilla on revengeance difficulty, then I realised that it was normal difficulty all along. Swithced to revengeance, managed to get to the second phase, he turned into a Jetstream Sun and splitted my butt in two, I love this mod.

I didn't even know he could use the pillars as weapons until like my 7th playthrough. Killed him before he got to that point every time.

i played this when it came out on the 360 and i just found out this was a thing, 11 fucking years i keep coming back to this game and i still have never seen him do this, i legit thought it was part of the mod
@@zombarney I first played it on PC on Hard Mode. He killed me a couple times because you have to feather the mouse to change the direction of slashes; so he pummeled me with that dumbass shield until I died. Once I got the flow of what I was supposed to be doing I *also killed him before he could use the pillars*.
I feel like they lowered sundowner's health so much because most people wouldnt know you can cut off his shield

I wish they could mod in a sort of 'healthpack' that sundowner could use when he's either at half of or at 20% of his health that fully heals him to sell the whole "Invincible" schtick that he claims he is.
Does the helicopters in this mod just hover there, if so then this is phenomenal. The helicopters in the base game piss me off to no end. What were they thinking putting that shit out of bound, forcing players to take them out with the inconsistent as fuck rocket.
The helicopters are more of a threat than Sundowner himself

There should be and updated version of Sundowner in the disc channel from the creator of the mod.
He's a bit slower than this to match the animations.
He has his own ripper mode (like DLC Armstrong).
You can only stun him with perfect parries.
I believe he has even more health (but I'm not 100% sure).

Uselessly OP, Sundowner is supposed to be easy, it's a weak opponent and goes down easy to give you a fast workout for what comes next.
