@@alr1577 You're right, Dustin is a great counter puncher and he managed to drop him 3 times but the pace was extremely high. His wrestling and grappling skills improved training for the Khabib fight, but he made the same problem against Oliviera like he did against Khabib; he focused about the danger more than his own best skills and gameplan. And just lacked a little fight IQ due to that; he got out of balance in the southpaw stance because he extended too much, he couldn't stay in the center of the octagon, and it wasn't much wrestling but not being stable and the lack of his black belt jiu jitsu trust because he didn't try enough to get out and accepted it. Chandler is a white belt in jiu jitsu but his wrestling is anti jiu jitsu, and he took a big chance by jumping backwards when he was in the same posistion as Dustin, and he got out; therefore Chandler has never been submitted... Everytime Oliveira tried to take Dustin down in round 1, he rolled and spinned out of it except for the second round where his right glove was grabbed, and then the fight changed completely...

I’ve been hearing a lot of MMA CZcams channels trying to downplay Khabibs legacy by comparing title defenses and those kind of stat that they use to determine “greatness” but the way Dustin compared his lose to Khabib and his lose to Charles says it all. In the Khabib fight he said “ I felt like I was bested” this one “ could have done more.” I point this out because in the future if Charles beats Justin people are going to come and claim Charles is better than Khabib. But I think Justin has a little bit more sting to his punchs than Dustin Charles may not survive those.
