''From Here to There: A Story of Collaboration'' tells the experiences of inter-ethnic collaboration for positive change at the community level.
The documentary presents two protagonists, two young women from the Albanian and Serbian communities in Kosovo, who bring examples from their experience to empower the youth and local communities. These two women were recently awarded 'Heroes of Harmony Award" for community engagement by #RYCO.
Through their journey, the documentary showcases the transformative potential of cross-ethnic collaboration and a youth-focused narrative. This is an inspiring experience that promotes cooperation and understanding between communities, challenging stereotypes and divisive narratives.
This documentary was created as part of the United Nations Initiative “Youth 4 Inclusion, Equality & Trust”, financed by the UN Secretary General’s Peacebuilding Fund and implemented jointly by UNDP & UNFPA offices in Kosovo in cooperation with SIT.
