Julia is an American television sitcom and the first weekly series to star an black woman as something other than a maid or a cook. The classic TV show show starred actress and singer Diahann Carroll, and aired September 17, 1968, to March 23, 1971. Jeff Alexander composed the second and final theme of the show.
