This is my Francesca Bianchi The Dark Side Review recently shot with Dalya. I shot the Francesca Bianchi Under My Skin review with Lola Scents late last year and we feel that Under My Skin is the progression of The Dark Side which is the favorite of mine between the two scents. It's dark, woody and resinous but brightened by the honey and vanilla notes. It's a perfect scent and both Dalya and I are fans of this beauty from Francesca Bianchi. Oh Dalya Dalya, great to see her again! Everyday Sebastian has new and wonderful fragrances for us to hear about. I’m not familiar with this brand, but as Dalya said it’s museum art....a great way to describe a fragrance. Of course I would love to try this House!! They all sound wonderful and the names of the perfumes are very cryptic, making want to experience them. Bring it on I would love to get my hands on these. 💐

Your reaction at the top of the video sounds rather like me when I get my nose on a perfume I instantly fall for. Would adore winning a sample set.
As for me, vannilic scents are amongst my favorites, so really want to try this out. And I recall your profile of Francesca in a prior video, how she is her house's sole employee, perfumer, packager, mailer, marketer, bean counter and so on. A truly niche brand. Shall seek out samples, perhaps a bottle.

Hahaha so cute to watch your disagreements. I remember the review you did with Lauren on Under My Skin. Still haven't smelled anything from the brand, but if it's anything like what Pep (the Scentinel) has made UMS to be, I'm eager to try it. Plus... if it's made in the Netherlands by Italian hands.....lol well then, it must be made by Francesca herself! Canada.

I like having Dyala in your videos , thank you both for a great review. I like my fragrances on the darker side. This is very intriguing fragrance, that is dark but bright at same time, this house has caught my interest. Bonus points From Dayala , made in the Netherlands by Italian Hands.

These fragrances sound great.Darkside sounds like something to wear to help drift off to sleep… usually can’t wear heavy stuff to work so I keep the thick ones for the bed. Good review.

So, so want to try this and her other fragrances!!!! Under My Skin and Sex in the Sea sound phenomenal but The Dark Side is the true contender. The honey and amber, the vanilla and musk dry down, the gourmand features all are the perfect storm for me. Even if I don't win, please tell me where to get the sample set as I'd love to check out this house. Heard so many terrific things about her. Great video as always and enjoy with you two together!

I love Daliah, but what is she smelling? Wow, her skin must be doing some wild things to this fragrance. I get something similar in Under My Skin and The Dark Side, yet they are quite different. Angel Dust is the only one I haven’t tried. I’d love to try that one, but I’m not gonna be greedy and enter when I’ve tried all but that one. Great review! Love how you two don’t always agree on the fragrance!

Iris note in fragrances from this house is really artfully blended and definitely beautiful.

Blind bought a bottle of this. It's not ambery on me at all. But a LOT of styrax and iris and violet. Leans VERY masculine. I'm wondering if my new soap isn't altering how the fragrance smells since it definitely leaves a different feeling than my usual one. Hm. NOT Unisex at all imo. I get zero vanilla.

I have herd many good reviews about Francesca Bianch and Sebastian this new video added new reason to trt test Francesca's perfumes.
I've had a bad experience this one. The top of the scent turned funky on my skin, it reminded me of stewed green peppers with pepper :S
The drydown was lovely resinous frankincense. Nothing groundbreaking but still good. Not really a dark fragrance in my opinion.
I will skip the giveaway as I already have the set. This other house's offerings are really good and i recommend everyone to sample this house at least once :)

I never heard of this house. How exciting. I'm not into gourmands either but found a few that are exceptions. Has Dalya tried ELDO True Lust? That's a dark violet with depth that I fell for and grabbed a full bottle of. You guys are so wonderfully weird. I have THREE friends with synaesthesia. One actually changed my name. He said Gina Tabasso doesn't go but Donatella Tabasso does with the colors; so, he calls me Donatella. All the notes sound wonderful. I love dark violet.

Hmmm.. Honey, spices, iris, sandalwood, incense and vanilla. Those are my favorite notes in fragrance. Just from the notes i already know that i’ll at least like this one. Also with the beastly longevity (i prefer fragrances with more longevity than projection). But tbh, i much more interested to Under My Skin. I’ve heard more great things about Under My Skin than The Dark Side.

Absolutely not actually. They are very different. This one is dense and heavy, balsamic woody! :)
