I played a game after this video and my opponent took the gambit and he got the finishing move bishop f7 and his queen was done. Game over. Tennison gambit is one of my Favorit gambits. This is the murder variation of Tennison. I call it the Vatikan Gambit

D5 and Nf6 are the two main replies to white's 2.c3, and Nf6 is my personal favorite reply to the Alapin since that transposes into the Smith-Morra and black only needs to study one variation instead of two.
I've always thought playing for tricks and traps was "wrong" somehow and not real chess. I've of course moved on from such silly notions. I can hardly wait to try this 😅. Thank you sir

That's also fine. But Bc4 is more positional, we need the Black king to be closer to the center.
