Old El Paso should make these with Cinn Toast Crunch in ice cream cones and bowls too!
Hard uncooked corn is soaked and cooked in lime until the corn is tender and then the corn is ground. This is what corn tortillas are made with. They will dry some of the ground corn to make corn flour. The lime is not lime as in the fruit. It is Calcium Hydroxide or (slaked lime).

Id put apple puree/filling with cinnadust on top with a drizzle of carmel sauce .
That way it wouldn't be so drippy
We make dessert taco shell with fresh flour tortillas with the cinnamon sugar.
We also make sopapillas and stuff with ice cream, honey and cinnamon. This is a common dessert found in New Mexican Restaurants. Spanish
Sopapillas are similar to Indian Fry Bread, and can be stuffed with beans, meat, chile. Or eaten on the side, with honey drizzled on them !!

I will never forget going to chi chia for their pre grand opening… my parents got a special invitation (I think it was 1989 or 1990… I was like 10 years old) it was the first time I had ever seen fried ice cream!!! My friend got these… brushed them with butter before hearing and then filled with apple pie filling and vanilla ice cream… they were good but very messy to eat… the butter helped a lot…
Good morning y'all. I hope you're well! Fried ice cream in my area comes rolled in corn flakes and then fried so it makes sense. I personally am one of the people that buys the Cinnadust. The reason being is I'm extremely lazy. I will eat fruit loops off of a paper towel with a toothpick to avoid making dirty dishes 😂
I’m an animal and eat dry cereal with my fingers. 😂

You could have used your cookie scoop for the ice cream. These sounded like such a good idea when I first saw them…but I haven’t seen a positive review. Glad you enjoyed them
In theory these sounded good but thinking about it ice cream with tortillas isn’t something I’d normally try. Think I could do without these. Thanks for the review.

I know Kevin seemed unimpressed. Maybe you could try it the way I fixed it and put apple or cherry pie filling inside with just a bit of caramel on the Apple and see if he likes that better 😊

Stand taco shells upside down on pan while heating up and they won’t collapse once taken out of the oven and being cooled. Leave them standing upside down until cooled. 😊

These sorta remind me of buñuelos. But those are made with flour, not corn.
The nacho cheese shells are very seasoned my family always get them when we make crunchy tacos i think yall would like the other flavors to they are very good

Odd they chose corn instead of flour to make the dessert shells. I worked at the infamous Chi Chi's back in the 90's & we used deep-fried flour tortillas sprinkled with cinnamon & sugar. Fun review!

No, I don't even like Cincinnati Chili (they add cinnamon to their chili). I wouldn't like it with a taco either.

I found the Ranch shells awful, and I was looking forward to them. The nacho cheese are better, but very lightly seasoned, more like off brand ‘Doritos’ rather than real ones. Note: two regular crunchy tacos are 100 calories, two plain stand and stuff shells are 150, and two stand and stuffed flavored shells (nacho cheese, etc) are 180. I think after i eat the ones I have, I’ll go back to the regular crunchy shells as I now have cute little taco stands I got from Temu for pennies so they don’t have to lay defeated and spilling out on the plate.
When you do new vids, please take a pic of the UPC, it helps us get items at our Walmart that they don’t currently carry.
I think that's why I haven't tried the flavored shells; I'm afraid to ruin my taco night. That's why I normally don't stray from my favorite. It's just not worth ruining the meal.
