  • In this video we’ll review the new Tidradio TD-M11 handy-talkie or HT. In the US it is marketed as an FRS radio. In Europe it is marketed as PMR446 radio. The FRS version has all 22 FRS channels, Bluetooth and CPS programming and NOAA weather channel reception.

    I really enjoy FRS radios like this for large groups.
    Skiing with a big group and want to stay in touch? Hand these out.
    I bought a Baofeng FRS on sale last year for something like $8 a piece and handed them out to everyone in our group. Non radio people don’t struggle with them at all. Super useful.

    I could definitely tell a difference. Maybe it’s because I rely on audio, due to blindness? I’m not sure. The FRS to GMRS sounded much lower and quality.
