    You're the real MVP!! Nobody has ever explained the whole base and top coat with the builder gel. I appreciate this video very much.

    I use a 48 watt LED light from SUNUV!

    Great info! I typically use a basic acrylic overlay that would be used for fake nails but on my natural nails. It gives a hardening effect that keeps my nails hard, even in water. Then, I apply my nail color and then seal/cure with a product called Seche Viva. It cures without an LED/UV light, which I prefer. Always a great video!❤

    I do the same, and I'm really happy with it. I also prefer short nails cause I think they are more neat and chick than long nails. ❤

    Thanks for making this video. Towards the end, did you say you don't need to remove the gel after two weeks when you want to apply a new coat? Does this mean you just repeat the whole process without removing old get? I know you used clear gel in this video. Can you do the same with colour gel? I found this refreshing!

    Do you use primer after dehydrator or straight to base coat or for this one it's only dehydrator and base coat gel? Sorry it's been awhile prepping nails getting back to it and I'm a stickler to follow every steps lol 😅

    Do you have to wipe the sticky layer off the builder before you apply the top coat?

    Can you paint over this and if so does it have to be gel polish or can it be regular polish?

    • @christelshepherd6908
      @christelshepherd6908 Před 24 dny +1

      It can be either... just don't use tip coat til after color

      @@christelshepherd6908 thanks, I’ve started looking at purchasing this stuff. My nails grow but they break horizontally and far down my fingernail. So I’m hoping this will be a great addition to helping them stay long.

    I keep getting lifting after a week. I use dehydrator, primer and then builder gel. Could it be the type of product I am using.

    • @JauntyJuli
      @JauntyJuli  Před 24 dny

      Hmm. Do you have naturally oily nail beds? Sometimes natural oils cause premature lifting. You could try a different dehydrator, possibly one with a sticky formula. Other possible reasons for lifting could be: too thick of coats, leaving product on the skin when curing, not fully curing the gel, or exposure to water too soon after doing your manicure. Play around with those variables and see if any of those make a difference. Good luck!
