OK, the video isn't even over, and I hands down say the passport TN! I can totally tell that is where your heart is, and you will always be craving the feel and look of the leather in your hand. Also, the passport insert paper is either the same, or maybe slightly bigger than the pocket ring size inserts, so there is that. In addition, I think it is a big deal how you can pull out your little TN and be able to hold it and write with it. I think putting in that pocket notebook in the back is perfect if you want that much writing space! It fits fine to me. It is cute, adorable, and fits lovely in the hand. It is like a scrumptious little treasure or sorts. lol And if you don't need that thick of a notebook in the back, then use your little passport one. A TN really is versatile. My history is I used a pocket TN for a year or so and loved it, then I used pocket rings for about a year and loved it, now I have been back into a pocket TN for more than a year (now dabbling in passport size), and sometimes I see a video and it makes think how cute and fun pocket rings are, but in reality pocket and passport TN's work the best for me. I can't seem to be able to write on the inserts in a ring planner if the paper is still in the rings, so that means every time I want to write something, I take the paper out, and use a different writing object to put the paper on to write. I often slit the holes, making it easier to take them in and out, but it is still more complicated than a TN. Also, how do you really store all those loose pages of a ring planner if you wanted to save them? I am sure there are ways, and the way I thought was great, I look back on them now, and think what a mess and how unorganized. I also love a somewhat, or even a chunky TN, over taking up space with rings. Those are my thoughts at this point. As far as personal size. I don't remember is you were talking ring or TN. My preference again would be TN, for all the reasons stated above. Personal, or maybe it is called standard size in the TN world, would give you more writing space if you needed that. I always return to the ring planner, so...I'll choose the ring. Because I can keep changing the inserts whenever I want or need to. Also, I can move the bookmarks around where I need them.

I just started this video but I vote TN. We can Always squeeze one more insert into a TN but it looks like those rings would REALLY limit what you carry. Thanks for letting us vote! 4:45

I use both of these and I use the Filofax as an actual planner with the dated pages etc, and then the TN is all about notes for on the go. Shopping lists, an address for somewhere I need to be, emergency info etc. I don't feel I need all my day's appointments with me on the go, but if I do, it's no fuss to throw both in my bag. So basically Filofax = planner, TN = Notebook. Then I get to use both!

GREAT Video 🎉 I love using my Passport as my wallet . But I use a Filofax Original in personal as my planner. I even tried to use a Pocket size TN as my wallet on the go. And went right back to my Passport TN after one day! It really is something about the feel and functionality of the Passport TN! Seem like you like it too 😊 Thank you for sharing.

Actually, you can put pocket size ring to your TNP! You don’t need to open the holes, just use 2 bands!

I love both of course ! Since you’re using rings for personal I would do TN get the best of both worlds. I always love personal rings sigh but I also always have an affair w discs leaving personal for the “next time” - it’s like your dilemma here rings or tn 😂

They are both so beautiful! The original Filofax is one of my favorites because of the simplicity.
I think you should go with the TN, you seem to really enjoy it and you already have rings in your lineup. If I were you I would keep your scribble notebook slim to keep it nice and light for your travels. Plus so see that TN age would be wonderful!

When I travel, I am not careful with my bag so I would prefer the Passport TN, I would worry that the rings would brake. Where did you get your passport TN cover (Canada)? I have been shopping for one and really like yours.
