There's a lot of sustained notes and she's singing mostly thin consonant and vowel sounds which makes it even harder to hold them out and to sing them in the upper range but BANKS nailed it of course.

The story she tells is quite dark if you think about it. she asks him why he's so afraid. right after she says " you hide in your hole" meaning he is buried. Sinister to say the least. It amazing that the content of the song is dark, but the way she sings is what draws me in.
