I had a really good feeling about this recording after it was done. Sure, there were two instances when Adam moved unexpectedly with my slow reaction but I managed to correct.
The first time involved Adam moving in front of me and singing overhead to the audience. In this instance, I moved my camera up so it'd look like he was hovering over me.
The second instance involved Adam going into the crowd to get them involved. When this occurred, I tried to shoot Adam inbetween the audience and sometimes lifting my phone overhead to capture what I could until the singer returned to the stage.
This was a first for me and it taught me to track the front person to anticipate surprise moves into the audience. Sure, my adjustments were slow, but I think I recovered alright!
What I enjoyed about this set was when the band played "Very Loud" and did a medley into the Stone Roses' "Waterfall." A couple of us in the audience caught it, but a lot of the younger folks looked confused. You'll know what I'm talking about when you watch the video...
