  • What if I said that you everything you have been told about platform pedals is wrong?
A mid-foot position paired with a flat (not concaved) 5 inch platform with small pins go against everything we have ever been told, but it works, extremely well.
The Pedaling Innovations Catalyst Pedal is designed for
    - More Power
    - Better Efficiency
    - Less Pain
    And it does just that!
In this interview with James Wilson from Pedaling Innovations James explains how the pedal works, how it evolved and a whole lot more.

I'm going now for my second pair of Catalyst and although I use clipless too sometimes, for downhill, enduro and trail riding the big flats really shine! It really feels like you're skiing!

I always worry about a loss of performance, with high hops, when thinking about using extra-large pedals. I’ve been using Stamp 2 Large for several months and I love the large platform for acceleration and for drops but I always worry about my hopping height being possibly diminished. I just put on a pair of Fookers, which are slightly smaller, but I should really try a comparison by using a Stamp 2 in the small size.
    Good video, guys! 👍

MTB Clipless pedals are for racers...and novices who are headed for paralysis.

Not everyone uses clipless pedals. I enjoy racing and enjoy the freedom of a good flat pedal. I know I’m not to only one, I’ve raced against plenty of other flat pedal racers. Novices on clipless is a big concern though.
