I am a retired teacher of Deaf and Hard of hearing (70 yrs. young). I have been watching soap videos for at least three years and want to thank you especially for all of your many tips. The 10 tips for newbies I just watched was wonderful and critically important information, I think. It helps so much to have a foundation of this type to start out with. I doubt I will ever go on u tube as I prefer the Kraft fairs where I can have opportunities to socialize as well, but appreciate all of you who do it. Again, thank you.
I will just continue to say how amazingly generous you are!! Watching you and Edens Secret and other warm spirits is an incredible gift. You are a master class in running a craft business. Thanks for all the ups AND downs. Very valuable lessons. Alicia NYC
Whenever I order any of your soaps I always watching this video to see how they will be packaged. Gets me pumped up for when they come
I just really started binge watching your videos (LOVE, btw), and want you to know that I really enjoy the videos like this, that show how you do the "boring" part of business, like wrapping and packaging. But I might just be a huge nerd. If you make more like this, you'll have at least 1 person watch them all! Haha. :o)
I love watching this kind of stuff. Very interesting to see how other soapers prepare their products for sale and shipment.
Yay! This was AWESOME! I've been wondering about this for a looooooong time! Mystery solved! Your tutorials and "demystifications" like this one are my FAVORITE of your videos. Thanks and keep 'em comin'!
Katie, I just adore you.
I also hate that I missed your deadline for review.
My daughter and I have been in the soap making and bath and body products for 2years together and love it, and we find packaging is the absolute hardest part.
Thank you for sharing and as always we would love to see more as we are sure like us you evolve as we do.

Welcome back!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
I have a question. I am new to soap making and I bought cellophane bags to package them and I was just going to tie a ribbon to close them. Would that work and can I send them like that or do I have to put them in plastic before putting them in the bag. I don't have a heat gun so I want to know if it's OK for me to send them just like that or should I get a heat gun to package them. I thought the idea of the cellophane bags and the ribbon is really cute but I don't want them to melt to have something happened to them thank you so much
Thank you for the video. I'm a little new at this soap making. Having been an artist all my life I think I have found what I want to do when I grow up. It only took me 60 years...lol. Anyway, my question is about labeling. I wanted to make scrubs, bath bombs etc but the labeling issue was so overwhelming. Can you produce a video on the laws of labeling these products or how to do it? I'm sure there are many others in the same boat......Brenda in Kemah, TX
Awesome! Thanks for showing your great packaging ideas!
Awesome just starting out in soap making have done candles in the past so do i need to put ingredients on the soaps that i give as a gift to friends and family

I just love your videos. I don't make soap at all, but I love watching you make soap because you are so creative and bubbly, hahaha, no pun intended. You have a great personality and it shines through in everything you do. Keep up the good work!
Hi! I am just starting my soap making journey and was wondering if melt and pour is the same as hot process? I've been doing the hp process so far and was wondering if it needs to be shrink wrapped like melt and pour? I am not using glycerin in my recipes. Thank you!
Thank you for showing this...I have been wanting an impulse sealer for quite some time but have put it off because no one had show how to use it that I had found. I LOVE the soaps you showed in this video btw! :)

Looking for suggestions for packing decorative candles so the toppings won’t get damaged
Hi,
I know I’m a little late to the party but I wanted to ask a question do you wait the 4-6 curing time before packaging them?
Thanks so much! Great tips and advice.
Was good to see your wrapping good ideas

You have a great attitude! Subscribed!
You're the reason I went from boxes to shrink wrap I feel it's also better for my customers as far as being sealed and not tampered with thank you for your videos

Does anyone know where I could get those liners she uses for the cuocake bath bombs?
how did you print your logo on the labels?
I am making some bath and beauty products for gifts this year. I need plastic jars and am over whelmed where to look and decent prices. I have used canning jars in the past but glass is not the greatest for the tub. Can you help me with suggestions. Thanks for your great videos.

You are so Awesome .... Love your videos thanks for sharing. Beautiful Results!

Anyone have suggestions or know if this will work for cupcake soy candles or will the heating the wrap melt the wax?
Excellent video! Do you shrink wrap everything at once or as people order?
So helpful...I have been shrink wrapping, but not used Nguyen an impulse sealer, which isn't nearly as clean an professional looking!
You really are such an inspiration
Yes! Please make more videos like this!
same heat gun i have...got mine @ Lowe's i think for around 15-$20.00...great buy
Thank you Katie! :) Great video!
Hi Katie! I live your videos. I have a question about the shrink bags you use. I bought the same bags as you left on your link and bought an impulse sealer, but the impulse sealer won't work in these type of bags. It will work on the cello bags but they don't shrink. And the shrink wrap bags won't seal. So can you help me. How does your impulse sealer work on your bags. Thanks for any input.
Pink Sugar Bath Boutique Hmm, really? Do you have the setting up high enough and is the impulse sealer working on other bags? If not, it might be that the metal piece on the inside needs to be replaced.
Hello !! how long you take to grap the soap?
hi, when do you package your soaps? i mean how many time must pass between the packaging and when you do soap?
Do you have to make an ingredients label??
Hi there I am loving your channel! Can I ask where you buy your jars for sugar scrub?
Great video and wonderful information… I also shrink everything
Thank you Katie so helpful, keep soaping.
Hi......I really love all your soap videos and also your experiment videos.......can't wait to see more videos.......cheers
How much do you sell your MP soaps for and your scrubs?
Thanks for sharing your packaging! Online labels is a great resource-I've found that Avery makes great weather proof labels-Avery also has a complete line of labels called "Business Builders", scalloped, etc.. with dual technology (inkjet and laser). Where do you purchase your shrink wrap bags?
Hi! Thank you for your wonderful video. It helped me alot! Your soaps are awesome right along with your beautiful personality!
Hi Katie what size are your labels please?
Hi Katie, I have seen both of your packaging vids. Now that it's 2021 I was wondering if you you would mind doing an updated version please with what your eco-friendly products are? Thanks so much. :D
First thank you for sharing all that you do. You’re video are very helpful. How do you come up with a logo . I know it’s on the computer but what programs are good for making logos.
Very informative. Would like a video more on labels and what needs to be on them.
Great video! Lovely soaps! It does appear that you completely seal your cold process bars. I am new to soap making, but I was under the impression that Cold Process & Hot Process soaps are supposed to 'breathe' even after they have completely cured. I do like the idea of having the entire bar completely sealed, but I didn't know if there would be a downside to doing this with Cold & Hot Process soaps.
you rock, looking forward to more videos.
Just wondering if you could use the excess pieces of shrink wrap that you cut off your soaps to seal your jars.
I loveeeeee this! Do you suggest this packaging for shipping candles? I have cupcake candles and I need advice on how to ship them please!!!
Can you bag if they need to cure for 1-2 more weeks
My fave video zoo far :)
Does it ever get hot enough to melt the soap at all
Omigosh...you are awesome!
Loved the tour! 5☆☆☆☆☆
Didn't see this question asked in the comments below, but do you use an ink jet or a laser printer to do your labels? I've got an ink jet and haven't tried to do the weatherproof labels with it yet. Thanks for this video, very informative and filled with great tips and idea. You rock! Keep up the great work and the awesome videos.
Can u use a hair dryer that gets really hot if your pinched for money, katie??
Hi! i just start doing my own soaps and candles. I really enjoy it, but to gather all the information is hard a lot of people are not open to share.Thank you for the video and information, learn a lot from it.
Maria Garcia Yes I we enjoy it too! I am making candles myself... any suggestions for shipping cupcake candles?
Chanelle Novoséy look at cake decorating stores for cupcake boxes. They are a box with an insert for the cupcakes to sit in. I then stuffed the top with tissue paper and bubble wrap and wrapped that inside another box. (I was shipping hand piped whipped soap cupcakes that were quite delicate.). They made it mostly intact. The boxes are a bit more expensive though (I think $3 or $4 each).
Get on Etsy! A lot of us share there#
