This training provides a foundational outline of C# and its capabilities as a programming language. He’ll discuss its history, utility as an object-oriented language, and how it relates to other well-known languages, such as Visual Basic and C++. One of the core aspects of this language is how it relates to the .net framework and common language runtime. Garth discusses how specific programming applications interact with base class libraries to replicate common system functions. Once he’s established a base understanding of the language and how it works, Garth goes into the applications used to write C#, starting with Visual Studio.

c# is programming language not program but you can use visual studio to write codes,im using MonoDevelep cuz im making android game in unity

The .NET is the blue prints of the house, you are the carpenter. It provides what is possible but you need to know what needs to be used to build the house like wood and chairs etc.
