Love the Birthmark! Looking forward to reading this short story.
Love when Martin says “it’s like light being refracted through a prism”.

This was one of my favorite short stories I read in junior high! I also enjoyed reading (around the same time ) Hawthorne’s parody of Pilgrim’s Progress called The Celestial Railroad.
Fizz: start out bubbly, end quite flat. Is that not most, if not all, politicians?
Is the retelling of the Greek myths you mentioned called Tanglewood Tales? What edition would you recommend?
