- The infamous "pads that hit back" session is back in Episode 5 of the Tiger Muay Thai Fight Team Tryouts Documentary Series! Watch how this year's contenders fared in the ultimate test of endurance and heart dished out by our Muay Thai trainers!
This year's Tryouts saw the biggest volume of talent in Tryout history, with 38 contenders from all over the world making the journey here to Phuket to vie for a spot on our world class Muay Thai & MMA fight team. Stay tuned for the final episode where the winners are revealed coming soon!

No one EVER said it would be fun, So funny when I was in Thailand that was when Caleb A first got there my brotha from NY, met allot of good people when I lived in Thailand
As brutal as it is and as much as it seems unfair to the guys trying out, this is a great way to humble a fighter and check their ego. You can look good on mitts all day back home but lets see how you react when shits not going your way.
Saksurin precisely explained the difference between his coming up versus the guys trying out...more struggle breeds a different caliber fighter. Mentally, physically, spiritually.
How many fights you had?
@@hereticlife2546 no professional fights but plenty of backyard/school yard, bathroom, and random street fights. Too old now to do anything professional with my experience but hasn't stop me from joining gyms and learning the craft in a "formal" setting. Has actually helped me honestly, I gotta different "sense" and it helps that I've always been athletic and flexible.

I like how they set people up for a counter shot. Like when they hold the pads to the side so the trianee will kick and then the trainer will throw a low kick to trip them

The whole "pads that hit back" is a great concept. and training technique. What if the day comes when you're in a fight with some one who isn't responding to anything that you do? Will you quit because you aren't laying out your opponent? Life is a lot like "pads the hit back," isn't it?
