  • El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele shocked his entire cabinet by summoning them to announce they're under investigation for corruption.
President Bukele posted a video to X, revealing him requesting the Attorney General, the only one present not on his government's executive branch, to investigate all of them for bribery.
The officials' stunned reactions were evident as they gathered for the announcement.
The video has since gone viral online and earnt the praise of right-wing commentators and activists.
"This is how you lead. Whether it is well executed or not, we shall see. But this is how you lead," Former CIA Ops Officer Bryan Dean Wright wrote on X.
TurningPointUSA Founder and CEO Charlie Kirk praised the move as a "master class for all the world to see on how to be a transformative, once in a generation leader".

@@franksters08 It's actually very, very easy. Just ask the 'Golden One' Obama. He does a speech at an event or business and he gets paid $50,000 or more for something that takes a few minutes. A few dozen speeches and you are a multi millionaire. People will donate or invest with you if you are backed by these types of people and so they are a BIIIG draw in certain investment circles. This is true for many of the big boys. The Clintons, Bush's, Carter's and Biden's of the World. If you don't think people will pay you very highly for your insight after having run a country, state or city you are sadly mistaken. That type of experience is exceedingly rare and demands a high payment in compensation. The average Joe is just jealous that this is a standard of life they didn't actively work for or aspire too themselves and want to play the blame game because they are incapable of owning up to their own failings. Me? I work a minimum wage job because I didn't get a specialized skill set and I don't want to spend a third of my existence working hard for someone else. I don't blame the government, immigrants, my parents or any other group. My life was mine to live and I chose comfort and a life of ease instead of working my ass off trying to grab a golden parachute or fancy car. And I am quite happy all things considered.
