the companies I work for would have had a dozer feeding that shovel, making it faster to get a bucket full, everyday was like a road race ! On a road construction job through the big mountains of kentucky !
@@RPAMEDIA I love running that Equipment... Been retired quite a few years now. if I was still able. I'd love to be out there on it. I've ran everything they've had on the jobs. My main Job, was Production Driller, with a big drill on track drilling 7 inch holes.. blast the mountains away.. Miss that stuff...
Looks like the operator of this machine needs retraining. He should be closer to the face and take a 'skim' off the whole face so the weight is closer to the machines COG! He is not filling the bucket with must either, something he would be able to do if her was skimming and in closer. It also works out quicker. But thanks for the upload.

Would like to operate a machine that big sometime, biggest I have operated is a Cat 385.
I think you will find the R9800 is Liebherr's largest shovel,400 ton heavier.Cheers
