Season Six sees Bronson Pinchot (Perfect Strangers) join the cast as beautician Carol Lambert’s (Suzanne Somers) new business partner: hairdresser extraordinaire Jean-Luc Rieupeyroux. The partnership comes with Frank Lambert’s (Patrick Duffy) blessing, but Frank has second thoughts when Jean-Luc turns out to be a world-class meddler. Whether it involves Carol going incognito to Mark’s (Christopher Castile) basketball games, J.T. (Brandon Call) moving into a bachelor sanctuary, Frank’s spoiled camping trip or Lilly (Emily Mae Young) getting too many birthday gifts, Jean-Luc is behind it. Meanwhile, all of the grown kids except Brendan (Josh Byrne) want to go to a music festival, but Carol forbids them - until Al (Christine Lakin) discovers that Carol attended Woodstock and smoked marijuana! And to make matters worse, Frank has a midlife crisis.
Directed By William Bickley, Robert L. Boyett, Thomas L. Miller
Starring Patrick Duffy, Suzanne Somers, Brandon Call

Condolences to Suzanne's family and friends. Remember growing up and watching Three's Company. Plenty of laughs! Watching Step By Step even brought more laughs into the home!! Suzanne also brought a sense of compassion to her character. She will be missed!!
Loved when they clapped for him when he came on there. It's Balki omg. Lol
Is there any accent he can't do?! This guy is the best voice actor I've ever seen!
I used to watch Step by Step in the 90's, and also Perfect Strangers in 80's. I miss shows like these. Everything sucks nowadays!
Family Matters and Full House tho
@@91clarie yeah that too
I know huh? What the hell has happened to tv shows now? Everything just sucks ass! The 80s and 90s were the best!
@@Mrd9960 Political Correctness & Liberalism is what happened !
From Balki to Jean Luc. Oh my 😍
Bronson Pinchot: when you needed a foreign comic relief guy who really wasn't foreign in your American sitcom, he's your guy. I must say he's much more convincing as a fake Greek than a fake Frenchman.
Technically, Step by Step is in the same universe as Family Matters (Steve Urkel even visited Step by Step) as was Perfect Strangers, so Bronson Pinchot could still have been Balki over here. This is still the Chicago/Milwaukee area.
Full House was in this universe too, as an aside.
Bronson Pinchot was the Paul Reubens of TGIF😂
haha indefinitely 😂
Bronson Pinchot was FINE in this show... especially his accent and when his hair was shorter.
Suzanne looks awesome.
Balki Bartokomous , Bobby Ewing, and Chrissy Snow walk into a house.
LOL Perfect Strangers, Dallas, & Three's Company 😂
@@Chuckie-jf7dx Yeah, that's the joke.
Yes, actors are allowed to play more than one role in their careers. Particularly after a long one ended. I hope you know that.
Now we are so happy we do the dance of joy!
The irony that miller boyett had to call a veteran actor back from one of their old shows to help boost another one of their shows.
did it boost it tho? 🤔
@@KarateEMouse _Step by Step_ was in its sixth season by that point and the show was reeling from the firing of Sasha Mitchell (domestic violence arrest.) Even though Mitchell was out of jail by then, ABC vetoed the producers' idea to rehire him for season six because the network had just been bought by The Walt Disney Company.
@@drewzuhosky6826 so no? 🤔
The ratings had been on a decline for a few years.
@@drewzuhosky6826 so a no? gotcha 👍
How did Lily go from a baby to a kindergartner so fast? 🙂
Welch's Grape Juice.
@@kencoleman5007 LOL 😂😂😂😂😂😂 now that was hilarious
@sweetlife031 plot device LOL
Actually same thing happened to Nicky and Alex in full house and I still don't get it 😂😂😂
@@AvivDavidson OMG...you're right! And to Bianca Montegomery on All My Children....Actually I think I read that this is called Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome (SORAS) 🙂
OH MY GOSH. BRONSON PINCHOT!
RIP Suzanne
Even though Jean-Luc was an obvious Cody replacement he was a cool character.
I liked that Carol opened a salon with him. Jean-Luc was only on season 6 of the series. I call it the Jean-Luc season.
Fortunately, Cody did come back for one episode in season 7 from his around the world trip bearing gifts for the family.
Too bad Cody and Jean-Luc never met.
RIP ❤️🙏🏼
Best comishow eveeeeer
Rest in Peace Suzanne
R.I.P. Suzanne Somers (1946-2023)
This Episode was the sixth season opener but ended up being season six closer because abc aired Step by Step Season six episodes out of order
You can tell the early episodes because of Jean Luc hair.
Cody was my favourite though
.mine too.
@C.R886 I love Patrick Duffy hair is this episode he is one of my favorite actors especially when I always watched him on Dallas every Friday night as Bobby Ewing dreaming I was Mrs Bobby Ewing after watching Dallas. Love Patrick Duffy aka Bobby Ewing and Frank Lambert
Jean Luc Rieupeyroux? Pourquoi avoir choisi le nom de ce village comme nom de famille?
Shes literally threes company Chrissy the whole time lol
She said it was a SURPRISE FOR HIM?!?!?
Big surprise for Frank and all of us--Sasha Mitchell left the show and they replaced him with "Balky" from PERFECT STRANGERS as a comic relief--French, not Greek.
Carol, a real surprise for frank would be another woman. That way there would be a threesome. ;)
The producers were going to re-hire Sasha Mitchell for this season but ABC would not permit this as it had just been acquired by Disney.
Will this be on HBO Max? That would be so cool. This Family Matters, Martin, Living Single
This, Family Matters & Living Single are all on Hulu right now.
@@RodeoCowgirl Why Hulu and not HBO Max?
I'm on season 4 right now
No body notice is this was the same set for full house?
Did they explain what ever happened to Jean Luc?
💪🏻
Can someone please explain how Frank is just now meeting Jean-Luc in this episode if he was in the majority of the episodes before this one in this same season?
It was aired out of order
@@clairefraser7200 wow ok, thank you!
You know if I were to watch this entire 6th season, I'd begin with THIS episode.
1996
Al 🔥🔥🔥
Who else think Suzanne Somers was fine
Um.......everyone
I thought Bronson Pinchot was fine 😌
She was always fine, even in her 70's.
Funny man
Jean Luc (Step-by-Step) > Fernando (Fuller House)
1:33 ==> Ami du jour, bonjour
Hristos a înviat și te rog frumos trimiteți mesajul meu lui președintele României să vorbesc despre biserica și vreau să merg la biserica și sa treacă boala sa pe timp Ceaușescu nu era boala
The order of episodes of season 6 confuses me

Amis du jour, bonjour
Loved this low haircut on Frank
It must be cold on that set
Nah, it was simply a stimulating experience to have worked with such an actor as Mr. Pinchot..
When America was America!
L'accent français est parfait 🤣
What exactly does Jean-Luc say when he enters? I never studied French but from what I do know, it sounds something like 'Amis du jour, Bonjour!', can anybody confirm?
Yes, it is "Amis du Jour, Bonjour !" :)
@@tobirama2898 Thank you! 😀

Le type qu'on entent pas parler français une seule fois
This little girl used to always scare me when I would watch this show. She looks very creepy.
she looks 90 years old as weird as it sounds
@@tmpqtyutmpqty4733 What?
You look creepy
You're right, weird looking girl. 😝
I don't know about creepy lol but I never liked her character. Even as a child I didn't. But everytime teens start to age in sitcoms their old parents always mysteriously have a new kid who goes from baby to a 6 year old child. Miss the 90s 💯
Cody was way better
The actress who played Lily was cute and all. But honestly the show didn't really needed her.
