- Former English Premier League Midfielder Steve Sidwell retells the time he helped Aston Villa score a goal when he was warming up on the bench. Sidwell quickly grabbed an out of bounds ball and threw it to teammate Gabriel Agbonahlor for a quick throw in which led to a James Milner goal in a 3-0 victory against Hull City in 2009. #shorts #football #soccer #premierleague #epl #sports #story #funny

That’s not an assist then lol
he's obviously not being 100% serious...
Making an impact on the game from off the pitch is crazy.
Ball boys literally do this every season.
@@Burner39a good ball boy can be worth a good 10-15 points a season
Steve assisted the assist-well
Took impact sub to a different level
Man you’d ought to tell the ball boys, there must be some with record Premiership ‘assists’ 🙄
I got 8 assists from row C, seat 112 in one season. 8 times I shouted “shoot”, the player did and it went in.
Absolute legend.
Fantastic 😂😂😂
Not an assist, gabby passed it on. Nice story though
Exactly 😂 a pre-assist at best
Hockey assist
He made an impact
yeah i think he’s stretching it a little but its class, proper football
I remember that goal so well, UTV
You mean gabby got the assist
So he didn’t get an assist. He literally said Gabby passed it in on
I scored in the cl final i shouted shoot from my chair
Ball boy sidwell
That my friend ain’t an assist
An assist of the assist give over
Pre assist from mourinho’s number 9
So, didn’t then.
Right place Right time??? BOLLOCKS!!! That was absolutely formulated on the training ground!!! And I'm speaking from the school of "trust me bro"
It's not actually an assist then??? If that's the case then how many ball boys have assists....
he's joking ??? its tongue in cheek... crazy how many comments are taking him literally. gabby couldn't throw it to himself anyway so impossible.
This is a crazy story,, man acted like a volunteer 12 year old ball boy and wants praise hahahaha
Ive wondered why ball boys arent taught this. To read the game and if it looks like a quick throw in would give an advantage give the ball quickly to your team. And dont give it quickly to the oposing team if the situation is reversed.
Wow a professional footballer doesn't know what an assist actually is😂
not assist 🙈 & you did nothing apart from the blatant obvious, nothing vid
The goal wouldn't have happened if he didn't do that. It's not a legal assist but for all intents and purposes it is a great assist to a goal.
That’s not an assist mate
he's not serious mate
I once got an assist, I put the ball on the centre circle to kick off and in the 87th minute our striker scored
Maybe subs should be ball boys
Soft lad, the player who threw the ball to James m, gets the assist 🤣🤣
True definition of impact sub great work😂
What a goal
