- The music comes from the SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom video game. Most of these captures I was able to do with my capturing device. I was able to get most of them captured from my ''First 100 episodes" DVD collection. That's why some of them look like they're in 60fps.
I always preferred the original island. I just love how real it looks. My most favorite parts of the show is when things are made real, and that’s why “pressure” is my all time favorite episode. I just wish we had behind the scenes of the recordings of the island. All we know is that Stephen Hillenburg the shots of the island in Genndy Tartakovsky’s and Steve Belfer's pools.

Fun fact: the moon’s reflection in the night shots of the island is actually a human finger underwater.

It Came from Goo Lagoon is the last episode to use the live action island, starting with Lame and Fortune, a CGI model is used instead. This is confirmed by Vincent Waller as the original live action island hasn't aged well and is hidden deep within the Stephen Hillenberg archives.
I don't get why they started using cgi for the hd intro. They could've just done what they did in truth or square and it came from goo lagoon and crop or stretch the footage into widescreen.

He announced a couple weeks ago that he knows that Kamp Koral had the island, but he said that he's debating if he should add it or not.
