Thanks so much for the video. I was trying to tuck my can inside the hopper but it started to stick out the top because the trash couldn't pack anymore.
I switched off select-o-pack and manually packed it myself but ever so slightly so that I made sure I don't damage the tailgate.
Packed it just enough to tuck the can inside so that I am at proper height. Whew 😅

I'm mechanically inclined by my own nature.
I'm always interested in hydrologic systems and looking for information on something like this!
Is any particular part of these systems on these trucks pneumatic?
Or do they all use hydrologic oil pressure?
Where is the pump located?
Would love to see more!

Why not make a garbagetruck like this that packs a lot deeper in the body ???

@@kris3555 It can be done, but, the heavier you are and the more of a load there is, more of a chance the tailgate can pop open if the packer goes too deep breaking open the back door. Esp if a driver is new and doesn't have the feel, really to happen.
