what a wonderful technique to get up..... love it, now to practice
I have been x-country skiing several years and my greatest nemesis has been getting up after a fall :o( THANK YOU for showing a technique that is so much easier than anything I've tried before!!
I went snow shoeing with a group from school and no back pack on me( others had them-I was exhausted! & I was 40 years younger! But I might try dads in the yard on a really good day

is cross country skiing easy to learn if you know how to downhill ski?

Shaytards101 I started with nordic but if you know downhill then the downhills will not be a problem. however, uphill may need some getting used to. I don't know for sure. but yes, it is very easy to learn nordic if you know downhill.
i mointain ski but i have never cross cauntrir skiied and i bombed a hill with my cross countrie skiis and broke my rist and my ankle
I have literally never heard of a right and left ski.
My wife is thinking about us doing this, looks kinda silly to me

voltage80x Their technique is horrible, so it may look silly in this video. Skiing wasn't very silly when Soviet Union attacked us and our troops moved fast in the snow due to knowing how to ski. I do it a lot with my friends because it's fun and it's done in the army.
