The extension is built in separate panels that are pre-built and flat packed for shipment. The assembly instructions are easy to read and follow, and all that is needed to assemble the chicken run is a screw driver, though we recommend a power driver. Each panel is clearly labeled so you know how they should attach, and each screw hole is pre-drilled and clearly marked so no drilling is required and you don't have to search for where the screws go.
